Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 371
CHAPTER 203-3
Of course he had and Ben tooked at me.
“Paige, you can’t blame yourself.” Ben said as I opened my eyes.
“You sound like Jace.” I said.
“Maybe because he’s right.” Ben said and despite everything, I almost smiled.
Ben stepped farther into the office.
“You gave me a chance when I was still learning, and you gave Kyle a chance because you thought he deserved one too.” Ben said and I looked at him.
“You don’t think I should have known?” I asked.
“No.” He said as his answer came immediately.
“You taught me that mistakes don’t make someone a bad mechanic, and trusting the wrong person doesn’t make someone a bad boss.” He added.
The words settled somewhere deep inside me.
Before I could answer, Ethan rushed into the office and his expression was serious.
“Jace.” Ethan said as Jace turned.
“What happened?” Jace asked.
“I found something.” Ethan said as he placed a folder on the desk.
“What is that?” Jace asked.
“I traced one of the companies that paid Blackstone Logistics.” Ethan said as Mia leaned closer.
“I thought Blackstone was the shell company.” Mia said.
“It is, but it isn’t the only one.” Ethan said as he opened the folder.
“I found another business connected to the same banking trail, and this one has been operating under a completely different name.” Ethan added as Jace looked at the paperwork.
“What’s the company?” Jace asked as Ethan hesitated.
“Ridgeway Industrial Supply.” Ethan said and I frowned.
“What does it sell?” I asked.
“Industrial equipment, replacement parts, commercial tools, and machinery.” Ethan said.
“That doesn’t sound connected to Victor.” I said.
“It wouldn’t.” Ethan said as he pulled out another document.

That’s the point.” He added and he placed the paper beside the others.
The company has been moving money through three different accounts, and one of those accounts received payments from Blackstone Logistics.” He explained as Jace studied the documents.
“How long?” Jace asked.
“Four years.” Ethan said and the room went silent as I looked at Ethan.
“Four years?” I asked and he nodded.
“And there’s something else.” Ethan said.
“What?” I asked as Ethan turned the next page.
“The registered owner doesn’t exist.” Ethan said as my stomach tightened.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
