Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 409
CHAPTER 222-1
Paige’s POV

Lawson Customs stayed open.
I knew some people would think that was reckless, but closing the doors had never felt right
to me, especially when everyone around us needed somewhere they could trust.
The first damaged Iron Vipers motorcycle arrived before sunrise.
Ben rolled it through the workshop entrance while Aiden followed behind him, carrying a
toolbox.
“Front brake is damaged.” Ben said.
“How bad?” I asked.
“Bad enough that nobody should ride it.” Ben said.
“Then nobody rides it until you fix it.” I said and Aiden looked toward the growing line of
motorcycles outside.
“We’re going to need more space.” Aiden said and I looked around the workshop.
“We have the space.” I said and Ben raised an eyebrow.
“Where?” Ben asked as I pointed toward the customer waiting area.
“We move the chairs, clear the tables, and use every available work surface.” I said and Aiden
smiled.
“That’s going to make Mia happy.” Aiden said as Mia appeared from the office doorway.
“I heard that.” Mia said and Aiden laughed.
“I meant because you like organized spaces.” Aiden said.
“I like organized spaces, and I especially like them when nobody is shooting at us.” Mia said
as the smile disappeared from his face.
Nobody needed to say anything after that. The attacks had spread across town during the
night, and although Lawson Customs hadn’t been hit, everyone knew the situation could
change quickly.

CHAPTER 222-1
I walked toward the office.
“Mia, how many calls have we had?” I asked.
“Twenty-three since six this morning.” She said.
“Customers?” I asked.

“Some customers, some club members, and several businesses asking whether We’re still
open.” She said.
“What are you telling them?” I asked.
“That we’re open.” She said.
“Good.” I said and she looked at me.
“Paige, are you sure?” She asked.
“No.” I said and her eyebrows lifted so I smiled slightly.
“But I’m sure we’re not closing.” I added and she nodded and returned to the phone.
Outside, another truck pulled into the lot.
Two community members climbed out carrying boxes of food and one of them waved
toward me.
“We brought breakfast.” Someone said and I walked outside.
“You didn’t have to do that.” I said.
“We know.” She said as the woman handed me a box.
“That’s why we wanted to.” She said.
I looked inside and saw sandwiches, fruit, pastries, and several containers of coffee and my
throat tightened.
“Thank you.” I said and she smiled.
“You helped half this town when people needed repairs after the warehouse fire, so now it is
our turn.” She said and I carried the food inside.
Within an hour, more people arrived. Some brought coffee. Others brought bottled water,
sandwiches, tools, blankets, and spare parts.

CHAPTER 222-1
Nobody had been asked. They simply came.
The garage slowly transformed from a motorcycle workshop into something else.

It became a repair centre. A supply point. A meeting place. A place where people could sit
down, make phone calls, and find out what was happening.
