Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 410
CHAPTER 222-2
The garage was crowded, but somehow, everyone found a way to work around each other.
Then Emma arrived carrying another tray of food.
“You people are going to run out of room.” She said.
“We already have.” I said and she laughed.
“Then I brought more anyway.” She said.
Sophia followed her with two children behind her.
“They wanted to help.” She said and I looked at the children.
“What did you bring?” I asked and one of them held up a paper bag.
“Cookies.” She said and I smiled.
“Then you brought the most important supplies.” I said.
They grinned and carried the bag toward Mia.
Diesel followed them closely, and his presence seemed to calm everyone.
For a little while, the garage felt almost normal. Then a motorcycle engine roared outside and
I looked toward the entrance.
A member of the Iron Vipers rode in, followed by another damaged motorcycle being pushed
behind him and he removed his helmet.
“We need help.” He said.
“We have plenty of it.” I said and he smiled tiredly.
“I was told this was the place.” He said.
“It is.” I said and he looked around at the crowded workshop.
“What happened here?” He asked as I glanced at the people working around us.
“Everyone decided Lawson Customs wasn’t closing.” I said and he nodded.
“That sounds right.” He said as he handed me a key.
“This one took a hit near the rear wheel.” He added and I walked toward the motorcycle.

“Ben.” I called out.
“I have it.” He said as Ben rolled over and inspected the damage.
“Rear brake line is damaged, and the wheel is slightly bent.” Ben said.
“Can you fix it?” I asked.
“Yes.” Ben said.
“Then fix it.” I said as he got to work.
I stepped back and looked around the workshop.
People were frightened and businesses had been attacked.

The Black Reapers had returned, and nobody knew how far Victor intended to take this.
Yet the garage was full. Not with panic. With people. That mattered.
Around noon, Mia walked toward me holding a clipboard.
“We have twelve bikes waiting.” Mia said.
“Only twelve?” I asked and she laughed.
“There are more coming.” She said.
“Then we keep working.” I said and she looked toward the office.
“I also have three businesses asking whether they can use the garage as a temporary
meeting point.” She said.
“Tell them yes.” I said.
“Are you sure?” She asked.
“Yes.” I said and Mia smiled.
“I thought you would say that.” She said as she turned away.

Ben was no longer the uncertain apprentice who needed someone watching every move.
He was a mechanic. A damn good one and Aiden had become part of the team just as

naturally.
Together, they were keeping the workshop moving.
The afternoon passed in a blur.

More damaged motorcycles arrived. More food appeared and people came through the
doors looking for information, shelter, or simply somewhere they could breathe without
hearing another siren.
Lawson Customs became the place where everyone gathered. Then a familiar Iron Vipers
truck pulled into the lot.
Derek stepped out and he looked exhausted.
His jacket was torn near the shoulder, and there was dirt across one side of his face and I
hurried toward him.
“Are you hurt?” I asked.
“I’m fine.” He said.
“You don’t look fine.” I said.
“I said I’m fine.” He said and I narrowed my eyes so he sighed.
“Nothing serious.” He added.
“Good.” I said as he looked behind him.
“There’s another bike.” He said.
I saw the damaged motorcycle being unloaded from the truck.
“Bring it inside.” I said but Derek hesitated.
“What?” I asked and he looked at the motorcycle.
“I need you to be careful with that one.” He said.
“Why?” I asked.
He didn’t answer immediately and Ben rolled the motorcycle toward the nearest lift while
Aiden came over so I walked closer.
The rear wheel was damaged, the side panel was torn, and the handlebars were bent and Ben
