Victor’s POV

The camera was already recording when I stepped into frame.

Behind me, several Black Reapers stood beside their motorcycles, while the damaged streets around us provided exactly the image I wanted.

I wanted people to see what had happened. I wanted them to see that the Iron Vipers had not

stopped us.

They had defended one towing depot, but three other locations had been hit, and several businesses across town had suffered damage.

The Iron Vipers had spent months pretending they could control this war. Now I wanted everyone watching to understand that control was slipping away from them and I looked directly into the

camera.

“Tonight, the Iron Vipers learned that they can’t hide behind their businesses or their families forever.” I said and I paused before continuing.

“You have spent months attacking my people, destroying my warehouses, taking my weapons, and believing every loss brought you closer to victory.” I added as I smiled.

“You were wrong.” I continued.

One of the riders behind me shifted, but I ignored him.

“This war has changed. Jace believes he can defend every business, every road, and every person connected to his club, but he can’t be everywhere at once.” I said as I leaned closer to the camera.

The words were deliberate and I wanted Jace to hear them. I wanted Paige to hear them.

Most importantly, I wanted the people around them to hear them.

“You have two choices, Jace.” I said as I raised two fingers.

“You can continue fighting, and more of your people will suffer, or you can surrender.” I added as I lowered my hand.

“Give up the territory you have taken from us, stop interfering with my operations, and order your club to stand down.” I said and I paused.

“If you refuse, then I will continue.” I said as the camera remained focused on my face.

“I will not stop because you destroy another warehouse.” I said and I stepped closer.

“I will not stop because you arrest another rider.” I continued as my voice hardened.

“And I will not stop because you think you have won a few fights. You have not won.” I said as I stared into the lens and I nodded toward the motorcycles behind me.

“This is only the beginning.” I said and I ended the recording.

For several seconds, nobody spoke. Then Damien approached. –

“You really think posting that will change anything?” Damien asked and I looked at him.

“It will.” I said.

“How?” He asked.

“Because everyone will see it.” I said.

“That doesn’t mean they will believe you.” He said and I smiled.

“They don’t have to believe me. They only need to understand that this war is still happening.” I

said as Damien folded his arms.

“And Jace?” He asked.

“Jace will respond.” I said.

“You think he will surrender?” He asked.

“No.” I said.

“Then why challenge him?” He asked.

“Because refusing publicly will make him look responsible for whatever happens next.” I said as

Damien studied me.

“You’re trying to force him into a position where every response costs him something.” He said.

“Exactly.” I said as I handed the phone to one of the riders.

“Post it everywhere.” I ordered and the rider nodded.

“Every account?” He asked.

“Every account we control.” I said.

Within minutes, the video appeared online and it spread faster than I expected.

People shared it. Commented on it. Argued about it. News pages picked it up. Local groups discussed the attacks.
