Summary for Chapter 451: Ride With Me (Paige and Jace)

Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 451

CHAPTER 240-1

The quarry appeared beyond the tree line, exactly where Damien had said it would be.

The abandoned site stretched across several acres of broken stone and rusting equipment, while steep rock walls surrounded the main excavation area.

I slowed my motorcycle as the convoy approached the entrance.

“Stop here.” I said.

The Iron Vipers came to a controlled halt behind me.

Engines shut down one after another, and the sudden silence made the quarry feel even more

threatening.

Ethan climbed off his motorcycle and studied the map.

“The main entrance is ahead.” Ethan said and I looked toward the gate.

Victor had barricaded it.

Several abandoned trucks had been pushed across the road, while steel barriers had been chained

between two concrete pillars.

“He knew we were coming.” I said as Derek looked toward the ridge.

“He has been preparing for this.” Derek said and I nodded.

“Mason.” I said as Mason stepped forward.

“You take the western flank.” I said.

“Understood.” He said.

“Derek, take the eastern side.” I said and Derek nodded.

“We will cut off anyone trying to escape.” Derek said.

“Don’t rush the entrance.” I said as Derek looked at me.

“We wait for your signal.” Derek said and I turned toward Ethan.

“Can you see another way inside?” I asked so he studied the map.

“There’s an old maintenance road behind the southern wall.” Ethan said as Tyler stepped closer.

“That road leads toward the bunker.” Tyler said as I looked at him.

“Can it be used?” I asked.

“Possibly, but the entrance is narrow.” Tyler said.

“Then that’s where we go.” I said.

The club began moving into position. Nobody shouted and nobody wasted ammunition.

We had learned too much over the past months to charge blindly into an enemy position.

Derek and Mason disappeared toward opposite sides of the quarry, while Ethan and Tyler stayed

with me.

Several other patched members moved behind the rock formations, using the natural terrain for

cover.

I looked toward the barricaded entrance.

Victor had spent weeks running. He had attacked us. He had threatened our families. He had lost warehouses, weapons, money, and people.

Now he had nowhere left to go so I picked up the radio.

“Victor.” I called out.

My voice echoed through the quarry and for several seconds, there was no response.

Then a loudspeaker crackled from somewhere near the main entrance.

“I was wondering when you would arrive.” Victor said.

I looked toward the top of the barricade and he stepped into view.

He was wearing body armor beneath a dark jacket, and several armed men stood behind him.

There were fewer than I expected. Maybe eight. Maybe ten and Victor looked down at us.

“You brought everyone.” Victor said.

“I brought enough.” I said and he laughed.

“You still think this ends with you winning.” He said.

“I’m offering you one last chance.” I said and Victor’s smile disappeared.

“To do what?” Victor asked.

“Surrender.” I said.

Several of the men behind him shifted uneasily and I continued.

“Put your weapons down, come out with your hands visible, and nobody else needs to get hurt.” I
