Dante’s pov

We had almost all the people we would need as backup.

I watched as Jade and her mother were busy looking at their phones.

Mrs Bennett’s phone rang and she put it on speaker.

We were still about an hour away.

“It’s bad Mom, I don’t think I can hold them off,” Jay said and I watched as the mother and daughter’s faces went dark.

“You have to try kiddo, I know that you can do it. Just hold them off for an hour more and I will be

there,” Jade said.

“An hour huh? That’s all I can give you, get your ass here in an hour,” Jay answered and then hang

up the phone.

“Could you speed up?” Mrs Bennett asked me.

I was already at full speed already and they are other cars on the road.

That hour felt like days but we finally got to their coven and I couldn’t believe my eyes.

The destruction, dead bodies everywhere we looked at injured people groaning in pain.

As I was driving towards their mansion I noticed a large crowd of rouges.

And it was a mix which was strange, since when do rouge werewolves work together with rouge

witches?

And rouge witches are rare from what I know.

Since their fate leads them to a very brutal death, most of them just disappear.

Someone had the power to gather these people together.

Jade and her mother got out of the car the moment I stopped and ran to the large crowd.

I looked at the rouges, there were about 3000 of them all gathered.

“Huh, Mrs Bennett, did you come to say goodbye to your son?” a man asked.

In his hand, he was holding Jay by his hair.

His body was almost lifeless but I could catch a heartbeat.

He is still breathing and it’s faint, but he is still alive.

“Jay, wake up I am here,” Jade called out to him.

He slowly opened his eyes and then smiled as he looked at her.

“I held them off, I did a good job didn’t I?” he asked her and Jade smiled.

“You were great kiddo,” she said and then she closed her eyes for a second.

Jay who was being held like some doll suddenly disappeared from that man’s arms and then into

Mrs Bennett’s arms.

“Mom, you take care of him,” Jade said to her mother who nodded.

“Dad and everyone here, go and take care of the injured and help them get the medical help they

need,” Jade ordered and everyone scattered just like that.

Only Sasha and the people from my pack that I came with remained.

Addison left as well, everyone followed her orders without even asking her anything.

“We will help you here,” Piers said.

Mrs Bennett was already attending to Jay’s wounds right there.

I guess that is the right thing to do since we don’t have enough time.

“So that little rat was threatening us. What did he say?” the rouge l’assume is the leader asked no

one in particular.

“Oh yes,

wait until my

sister comes here,” he said in a mocking tone.

His henchmen started laughing at this and then his eyes landed on Jade and then Sasha.

“Which sister was he talking about?” he asked and I heard Jade sigh.

I looked at her: Her brother was on the brink of death, and there were only 6 of us facing a large

army.

Why is she calm?

“Jade, why is that bastard still talking? End this already,” Mrs Bennett said.

“Oh yes, he said the name Jade. Even he was as confident as the old lady that you would end us quickly,” the man said.

Why is Jade just standing?

Why aren’t we fighting these fools?

“Actually, killing a person fast is more of my Mom’s style,” Jade answered.

“I don’t like killing, and when I do it’s because I am pissed. And when I am pissed, I need a way to vent. So I make sure that my prey suffers before they die, I grant them a slow death and make them beg for death,” Jade added.

The man started laughing at this and I watched him as he sized her up.

“Such big talk for a small girl, is it because you have that Alpha kid by your side?” he asked her and

she smiled.

“To kill a measly bunch like you? Oh no, I don’t need help for that,” she said and then looked at Jay.

“That boy is my younger brother, he is an i***t but he is my brother. Only I can beat him up, when someone else does it I get pissed. Remember what I said happens when I am pissed?” she asked

him and he laughed harder.

I watched as she walked towards them and I wanted to follow but someone stopped me.

“You will only get in the way,” her uncle said and I frowned at this.

What is he talking about?

Are they just going to let her take on this large army alone?

“Do you really think that she can take on all those people alone?” I asked him and he sighed.

“Well, I guess you don’t know her as well as you think you do. Because if you did, then you would be getting some popcorn and a chair to enjoy the show,” he retorted.

“Listen to him, don’t get in her way,” Mrs Bennett said and then continued tending to Jay.

“You spilled so much blood here tonight. May I ask the reason?” Jade asked the leader.

“Because they forced you to marry that werewolf kid. Our boss isn’t happy with this, he asked us to paint this little town of yours red,” the man answered and Jade nodded.

“There was a ritual back in the day, it was done to cleanse an entire bloodline, well a cursed one actually,” Jade said and everyone looked at her confused.

“What does that have to do with anything?” the man asked her.

“Well, I am going to cleanse your blood here today. Only someone with a cursed bloodline could be amused by such bloodshed,” Jade answered and then the man suddenly started floating in the sky.

All she did was raise her hand and a few seconds later a loud painful scream came out of him.

“It said that they would use a thousand needles. Can you feel it, the thousand needles piercing

inside?” she asked me but he just kept screaming.

“Actually, your blood is even more impure than I thought. A thousand isn’t enough, how about a

million?” she asked him.

His screams got louder, the man was screaming at the top of his lungs and begging for mercy.

“I am so sorry,” he yelled out loud and suddenly stopped screaming.

“Did you just say something?” Jade asked him.

“I am sorry, please forgive me,” he said and she nodded.

Clam

“You will be forgiven, but only once the cleanse is done,” she said and he started screaming again.

He was crying as well, his entire face was red from all the pain he was in.

I could sense it, but that wasn’t the only thing I could sense.

I sensed this dark aura and it was coming from Jade.

“The second step is boiling the blood,” she said and my eyes couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

I could see his blood being boiled inside his body and a little steam coming from him.

His screams echoed and I looked at his army that was now frozen in place.

“The third step is removing anything that isn’t blood,” she said and I couldn’t believe my eyes.

His bones were slowly piercing his skin, his bones were leaving his body and he was still alive to

see it.

I watched as his entire skeleton was separated from his body or whatever that flesh with only

blood was.

Are my eyes deceiving me?

Is this even possible?

How can something like this be possible?
