Chapter 121: Thief
Sasha’s pov
I looked at the note and I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Someone wrote in bold letters that they knew that I was not Dante’s real mate.
What does that even mean?
I am Dante’s mate and Jade came in and ruined everything for me.
She stole my mate from me and now some i***t is saying something this stupid.
Honestly, I wanted to ignore it and go to bed but I couldn’t ignore it.
Such a statement, I wanted to know who would write something like this and why.
I got dressed and as I was heading downstairs I could hear moans, groans, and laughter.
Claim
I didn’t even need to peek to know who it was because she was screaming his name at the top of
her lungs.
Don’t they have any shame?
Not only that, but to them it’s like the whole world doesn’t exist when they are together.
I have watched it carefully when the two of them talk.
It’s like only they exist and everyone around them is nothing but white noise.
I can’t believe it, I showed Dante what Jade’s true form is and he still didn’t care.
I thought that after what happened he would be disgusted by her but I was completely wrong.
Doesn’t he care that she turns into a terrible monster?
Not only that, but when she turned into that thing the food on the table became spoiled.
I watched as a worm came out of my food as if she was some dead thing that killed everything
around her.
The flowers withered, how can someone sleep with such a thing?
As I was heading downstairs I saw something else in the dark.
A figure standing and looking at the kitchen door where all the sounds were coming from.
Wait, why would anyone stand in the dark just to listen to this?
Chapter 121. Thief
Just hearing them right now makes me want to kill them.
And I don’t think anyone in this family would in their right mind do such a thing.
The whole reason these two are bold enough to have s*x in the kitchen is because they know this.
They know that the whole family will avoid this area like it was the plague.
The figure’s head turned to me and I watched as he walked out and into the garden.
That is the location I am supposed to be meeting the so-called anonymous guy who sent me the
note.
I walked to the garden and found the same figure standing there waiting for me.
“What is the meaning of this?” I asked the man who sighed at this.
“It is exactly as you read, you are not Dante’s mate but Jade is,” the man answered and I frowned at
this.
“And how do you know this? Who the hell are you? Turn around so I can see your smug face, or are you scared to face me?” I asked him.
I regretted saying that a few minutes later because his aura suddenly changed.
The darkness coming from him was so much that my knees even gave out.
“I am the one that should be asking you questions. For starters, how do I kill you for what you did?” he asked me and I looked at him confused.
“Kill me? Why would you want to kill me? What did I do to you?’ I asked him and he sighed.
“You ruined my plans, all you had to do was one simple thing. Keep the man happy and keep him as far away from Jade as possible. But no, you got greedy and in the process ruined my plans,” he said and I looked at him confused.
“I honestly have no idea what you are talking about,” I tried to explain myself.
This man, if he says that he is going to kill me then something tells me that he isn’t lying at all.
He is surely going to kill me for some reason.
“Explain to me what you are talking about. Wait, are you that man who was engaged to Jade?” I asked him and he nodded.
Well, that explains some of the things he was saying.
It explains why he blames me for Jade and Dante’s relationship.

“I don’t get why you blame me. How was I supposed to know that those two would betray me? How was I supposed to know that?” I asked him and he sighed.
I watched as he was massaging his temples.
If I use my cards right, this man could help in destroying Jade and Dante’s relationship.
Not only that, but from what I picked up from Jade he was someone who is powerful.
That kind of power could come in handy right now.
“I blame you because I gave you everything on a silver platter. Don’t you remember? The day of Jade’s 17th birthday? You were sulking about and I gave you a little something?” he asked me.
“What did you give me?” I asked him and he sighed at this.
“A little potion, I said that it will help you steal some of that glory from Jade,” he explained and I looked at him.
“But, that wasn’t you back then. That was someone completely different,” I pointed out and he rolled his eyes at this.
“It doesn’t matter, what matters is that do you remember that?” he asked and I nodded. Flashback:
“Come Jade, blow out your candles,” Dad said and Jade nodded at this.
I don’t understand why her birthdays are such a huge deal.
Everyone in the Coven came out just to celebrate her birthday.
The young, the old, and even the sick are all here to see their precious Jade the protector turn 17.
They are acting like turning that age is a huge milestone that a lot of people don’t reach.
I bet there is about a million other people turning that age and a thousand of them are turning on this day.
But no, Jade is special and everyone treats her like she is gold.
I walked away from the party to get some air when I heard someone chuckle.
“You hate her don’t you?” a guy standing in the dark suddenly asked him.
“Don’t deny it, I can feel the hatred coming from you. You are filled with so much hate, you have the
potential of being a great villain,” he added and I rolled my eyes.
“Just go back to the party and stop talking nonsense,” I said and he nodded and turned to leave.
“And here I was, I was going to help you take everything that Jade has. Her destiny, her fame, and

all the love she gets. I was going to help you steal her aura,” he said.
“Wait, is that really possible?” I asked him and he nodded at this.
“And what do you get from it?” I asked him and he smiled.
“Plenty really, I get a lot from it, But so do you,” he answered and I looked at him.
Can he be trusted with any of this?

“Give it a try, make sure she eats or drinks that somehow. You should make whatever it is you will be feeding her from scratch,” he added and then walked off.
End of flashback.
“I remember you, your little potion didn’t work at all,” I said and he rolled his eyes.
“It worked, the relationship between Jade and her mother became so bad she left home. You got
the spotlight once again, and you also got Jade’s mate and destiny,” he pointed out.
“Wait, are you telling me that the whole reason I became mated with Dante was because of that potion you gave me years ago?” I asked him and he nodded.
Wait, is that why those two connected so easily?
Are you telling me that this whole time I was blaming Jade for nothing?
I believed that she stole from me when the truth was that she was only taking back what belonged
to her.
You are telling
wine, that this whole time the thief has been me?
