I took her hand and we went to the elevator.

I don’t know why she had suddenly changed her mind but this is a good thing for me.

I was determined that no matter what, I would take Jade home with me even if it was the last thing

I did.

I looked at her, she had grown her hair longer this time and she looked even more beautiful.

She has this mature look about her the more I look at her.

What bothers me is her scent, why has her scent changed?

But it’s not a bad way, it’s in a way that draws me even closer to her.

After meeting her last night, I became restless and felt even more drawn to her.

I agree that the imprint I left on her must have matured with time.

But it wouldn’t change her scent, so what changed her scent?

“Why are you staring at me like that?” she asked me and I just smiled.

“Why not? She left us, she left like it was the easiest thing to do,” Onyx pointed out.

“She is our mate, we are here to get her back home. If you hurt her, then she might never come

back,” I retorted and he scoffed at this.

“I will never forgive her for this,” he added and then cut off the connection between us.

We got out of the elevator and I was doing my best to control myself.

If I kiss her here, the chances are we won’t reach the room.

For now, I will just hold her hand until we get to the room.

We got to the door of my suite and I watched how Jade looked at me.

“Your eyes, I see a spark of red in them and not the usual red,” she pointed out.

“Yes, Onyx’s eyes changed color about 2 years ago,” I answered and opened the door.

She walked in and I followed behind her and she smiled as she looked at me.

“Onyx, you haven’t come out to greet me. Didn’t you miss me?” Jade asked Onyx.

I could feel him react to her but he didn’t say anything at all.

He was busy sulking, he was hurt not only by Jade’s actions but also mine.

I didn’t go after her when I was supposed to and he felt betrayed by both of us.

“I guess you didn’t miss me then. That’s a little sad because I missed you more than I did Dante,”

Jade said.

I don’t know how but it seems like she could sense that Onyx was angry with her.

I could feel him melting a little bit at her words.

“Aren’t you going to speak to me?” Jade asked him.

“Well, that hurts. You are the one person I love more than anything in the world and you won’t

speak to me,” she said looking down and then started fake sobbing.

“I am not angry,” Onyx replied to her and I found myself laughing on the inside.

He was fuming a few seconds ago and now he is not angry.

“Really? You are not angry with me at all?

”

Jade asked looking up at us.

Her brown eyes filled with deception, is this what people call a white lie?

“Dream on, you heard what she said. It’s me,” Onyx responded and we both looked at Jade.

“Is Onyx the person you love the most in the world? He isn’t even a person,” I pointed out and Jade

I watched as she slowly unzipped the dress she was wearing and let it fall off her body.

“Are we going to be debating about all that or are you going to f**k me?” she asked with a smile.

I looked at Jade whose breathing was still ragged but she had a smile on her face.

I watched as she closed her eyes for a few seconds and I got to look at her.

The moment she took off that dress, I kind of lost it completely.

I forgot to truly admire the body of this beautiful goddess by my side.

I looked at her body and I could notice clear changes on her body.

She has a few stretchmarks on her belly and a few on her breasts.

Not only that, but her hips have gotten wider and she seems even more mature now.

Honestly, even in my imagination, I could never imagine something this beautiful.

How amazing must that someone or something be to be able to imagine such beauty?

I looked at Jade and now she was snoring lightly but now it does make me wonder.

It seemed like she had something she wanted to tell me but didn’t know where to begin.

I pulled her closer and closed my eyes.

The next morning I opened my eyes and found Jade looking at me.

“There is something I want to show you. Can you get dressed?” she asked me and I nodded.

I got freshened up and joined her in my car as we drove to her apartment.

She knocked on the door which I found to be weird because this is her apartment.

And why would she need to knock?

I mean doesn’t she live alone?

The problem is that her apartment is soundproof and I can’t hear anything happening inside.

The door opened and I froze in my tracks when I saw the person that opened the door.

“Mommy,” a little boy said as he jumped into Jade’s arms.

She picked him up with ease kissed his cheeks and then span him around.

Her eyes then landed on me and she smiled.

My eyes landed on the boy with the same hair and eyes as mine.

That aura, that is the aura of an Alpha and there is no doubt at all.

“Dante, this is Tom Odell, our son,” Jade said and I could hear her heart beating like crazy.

All this time, all this time we had a son and she hid him from me.
