Chapter 139: Home
Dante’s pov
Should I tell everyone home that Jade is coming back?
Well, I haven’t told them about Tom yet.
I want it to be a surprise of a kind.
I looked at Jade as she was done preparing for our trip.
“Are you sure about this?” I asked Mrs Bennett who nodded at this.
“I am sure, there is no other way,” she answered and I looked at her.
She honestly had changed a lot, still cold but there is a certain warmth to her.
When she talks to me and when she talks to Tom feels like two completely different people.
She isn’t rude or anything towards me but she is cold as ever.
But when she is with Tom, it is as if her entire heart melts at the sight of him.
“So I have another grandmother?” Tom asked his grandmother who nodded.
“You have uncles and aunts who will love you a lot,” she answered and Tom looked at his
grandmother.
Clam
“You are coming, right? I mean I love you more than my other grandmother,” Tom said with cute
puppy eyes.
“Of course, I can never leave my handsome grandson. And if I leave the two of you alone, then you might never eat a vegetable ever again,” she said with a chuckle.
We prepared everything and got on the road.
“We should arrive around dinner time,” I said as we started driving.
The moment we left the city I caught scents of rouges following us
“Did you sense that?” I asked Jade who nodded.
“I could about 200 of them, stop the car so we can take care of them,” Jade said and I nodded.
I stopped the car and looked at Tom who was now sleeping soundly.
“You two go, I will take care of him,” Mrs Bennett said and I nodded and we walked out of the car.
The 200 rouges all came out of hiding and I was almost disappointed.

I mean think about it, I am the Alpha King and Jade is a woman who was called a one-woman
army.
“This pisses me off,” Jade suddenly said and I looked at her confused.
“How can he send only 200 of you? Did he underestimate me?” Jade asked looking at them.
“What are you talking about? You are outnumbered,” the guy I assume is the leader said.
By now I know how Jade deals with things, she likes going after the leader first.
Claim
The leader is usually the strongest in the group so if he goes down the fear strikes his little army.
“You were told not to leave this city with him. Do you want to face his wrath?” the man asked Jade.
I watched as she sighed at this and then looked up.
“Don’t get things twisted, I was never afraid of that i***t, I just didn’t want the people I love to get
hurt. If I had to go up again him one-on-one then I would kick his ass,” she said calmly.
“Do you really think that you can win this?” he asked Jade who just shrugged.
“We are going to tell him, and he will come after you and kill every single one of you,” the man
retorted.
“It doesn’t matter honestly if he comes or not. Actually, the sooner he comes the better,” I
intervened.
I could tell that Jade was getting irritated with what was happening.
“And anyways, how can dead men report anything?” I asked him.
“He is mine,” Jade said as she ran towards the leader.
I didn’t engage because I wanted to see her combat skills.
I have seen them before but not at full scale.
I watched her as she was running towards him and she was fast.
That’s expected considering that she was just as fast as a very old vampire a few years ago.
In a matter of seconds, the leader was screaming as Jade was breaking his arm.
She then kicked his leg and I heard it break from where I was.
She broke his other leg and he fell on his knees and I watched as she looked at him with a smile.
Lightning came out of nowhere and struck him.

I watched as he caught on fire and Jade smiled at this.
Claum
“This should be enough to deal with you. You are going home, we don’t want to get there covered
in blood,” she said and then around and walked towards me.
As she was walking towards me I smiled as I watched every other man behind her get hit by
lighting.
She seemed so cool walking towards me with this massive havoc behind her.
“You could have saved some for me,” I said and she sighed.
“I don’t want us to get home covered in blood, I am sure there is more on the road as well. When
you kill them, don’t spill any blood,” she ordered and I nodded at this.
“Yes ma’am, I will do as you say,” I said and bowed my head.
“Stop that, an Alpha King shouldn’t bow his head to anyone,” she said and I pulled closer to me.
“There is only one person an Alpha King can bow his head to,” I said and she looked at me
confused.
“His Queen Luna,” I explained with a smile and watched how she looked at me surprised.
“My sister isn’t your Queen Luna?” she asked me and I shook my head.
“Hell no, the title of my Queen only has your name on it and no one else,” I answered and she
blushed at this.
And just as Jade said, we encountered other enemies on our way.
But I mostly took care of it and made sure that not even a single drop of blood touched me.
I must say, it was rather fun fighting that way anyway.
The moment we got home I found everyone waiting for us
.I am guessing that they caught Jade’s scent because they were really happy.
“You brought her back,” Tia said with a massive smile as she jumped around.
opened the door for Jade and she got out and looked at everyone.
I could feel that she was scared and I think I know the reason.
Mrs Bennett got out of the car with Tom and all eyes landed on him.
“Hello everyone, this is our son, Tom,” I said taking Tom’s hand.
Jade was about to talk when a cute voice suddenly called out.

“Mommy,” Dove said running towards Jade who opened her arms to welcome her.
Everyone just froze at this, hell even I froze at this.
The only word she has ever said was wow and she didn’t say anything after that.
“Mommy, I missed you,” she said once again.
“Hey Dove,” Tom said and Dove smiled at this.
Jade put her down and I watched as my daughter hugged her older brother.
“You are getting better at this,” Tom said with a smile.
“What the hell is going on here? What do you mean your son?” Sasha asked.
“It means that Dante and I have a child together,” Jade answered with a smile.
Claim
“I have you to thank for this, Jade came back because of your advice,” I said and Sasha frowned.
“What advice?” she asked.
“You said that keeping a child from family is evil. I realized that I was also committing that sin,”
Jade answered with a smile.
My mother walked towards Tom with tears in her eyes and then she looked at Jade.
“Welcome back home,” she said and Jade smiled at this.
I looked around at the joyful faces as they all recovered from their shock and ran to hug Jade.
I will make sure that no one has the power to break up my family ever again.
My wife and son are home, and they will stay here for as long as they desire.
