< Chapter 15 Alpha and Luna

I just found it funny how everyone keeps calling it the Alpha and Luna floor, and then his uncle had to explain that it was only meant for Alphas and their Luna.

I mean, he was just stating the obvious, which I found a little funny.

Claim

“Jade is my wife, and she is married to an Alpha. Tell me, if the Alpha’s wife doesn’t deserve to be on that floor, then who else does?” He asked them.

“Everyone, can you please not fight over this.” Sasha said and then held her mate’s hand. “Dante is right, and I hope that we can all respect his decision. Jade should get the same level of respect in this house just like I do.”

“Her bags seemed heavy. Could you take her to her room? Knowing her, I am sure she already wants to take a nap.” Sasha added with a chuckle, looking at me.

Alpha Dante took my bags and gestured that I follow him, and I did exactly that.

It wasn’t even necessary since they had an elevator, and all we had to do was get in it and press a button.

We got to the third floor, and he took me to a room on the far side of the house. The moment the doors of the bedroom opened, I couldn’t believe my eyes at all.

Since I was the future leader of the coven, my room back at home was the second largest after my mother’s room. This room is almost the size of my mother’s room, but that’s not the only thing.

I looked around the room, I looked at the plants in the room and the decor.

I turned around to look at Alpha Dante, whose eyes were already on me.

“I hope you like it,” He said, and I didn’t want to tell him that I loved it.

“It’s okay, but the plants. Why are there so many plants in the room?” I asked him.

“I saw your room back at your house. Asked your father about the plants, and he mentioned that they help you. I had him write a list of all the plants in your room.” He said, and I looked at him surprised.

Why would he go out of his way for me?

“You didn’t have to do that, I won’t be staying here forever.” I pointed out.

“Can I ask you for something?” He asked me and I nodded, but a little hesitantly.

His gray eyes never left mine as he put his hands in his pocket.

I think my eyes were as wide as a deer, but I didn’t want to move. So I stood my ground and watched as he leaned in and whispered in my ear.

“So get very comfortable with having me by your side because I am not going anywhere.” He added and moved away.

Why is he acting like this?
