Jade’s pov

“What is wrong?” I asked and no one answered but they went about eating their food.

I looked at Sasha and she was still looking at me as well.

After breakfast I went to work and was given my own office which was cool.

As I was sitting there I got a text from Addison and I couldn’t help but smile.

She then called video called me and I answered with a smile.

“Gosh, you really need help. Listen to the audio, it will help you not look like some beginner. Even if you technically will be one,” she said and I sighed.

“How did it go last night?” she asked me and I just shrugged.

“What happened?” she asked me and I sighed.

“He slept on the couch and I slept on the bed,” I said and she frowned.

“What the hell? I mean he is a man right? He slept in the same room as a woman and didn’t make any moves?” she asked me and I shrugged.

“What happened? Why did you make that face?” she asked me and I sighed.

“He did ask me if I wanted him,” I answered and watched how her face lit up and then her smile dropped.

“You didn’t answer him, that was his way of asking for your consent you dummy,” she pointed out and I shook my head at this.

“Listen, you have to listen to the audio book I sent you. And do everything I tell you,” she said and I

scoffed.

“You are acting like you are a professional,” I said and she scoffed back.

“I am not the 24 year old virgin,” she mocked and I shut my mouth.

“At this rate, if you don’t listen to me then you will probably die there,” she said and I sighed.

“What should I do?” I asked her and she thought about it.

She told me what I should do and by the time she was done I was horrified.

“I won’t do that,” I said and she sighed at this.

“Listen to the audio book while working,” she said before hanging up the phone.

I took my phone but frowned and decided to connect my headphones instead.

I don’t want what happened last night to happen again.

I started listening to the audio book and I don’t understand how people can listen to this.

I continued with my work and when I leaned back to stretch I found Alpha Dante standing at the

door.

How long has he been standing there?

“Alpha Dante,” I said taking off one ear piece and he smiled as he looked at me.

“What are you doing here?” I asked him and he just shrugged.

“Came to check on how you are doing. I didn’t come yesterday,” he pointed out and I nodded.

“I am fine, please have a seat. Would you like something to drink?” I asked him and he nodded.

“Water,” he answered and I nodded as I got up and got him the bottle of water.

Instead of taking the water bottle he held my hand and I looked at him confused. “You lied to me again, you know that I hate being lied to,” he said and I frowned.

My thoughts were interrupted when he suddenly bit my n****e through the scrub I was wearing.

I looked at him and he had a smirk on his face.

That is exactly what is happening in my audio book right now.

I have listened to it long enough to know that it doesn’t end here.

He took a fist full of my hair and pulled my head back a little to give him better access to my neck.

He started kissing my neck and slowly went up to my lips until he captured them in a kiss.

His hands roaming all over my body.

I felt so hot and all I could do was respond to his kiss.

My body, I wanted to absorb his body into mine.

There was almost no distance between us but it still felt like the little that was there was a lot.

I wanted more, “you can tell me to stop,” he said his lips still on mine.

I opened my eyes and found him looking at me.

“Don’t stop,” I whispered but he heard it loud and clear and deepened the kiss.

I felt like I was losing my mind, how can a kiss drive me crazy?

My phone started ringing and Alpha Dante stopped kissing me and looked at the phone annoyed.

I looked at the caller ID and then looked back at Alpha Dante.

Gosh, how on earth did I end up on his lap?

“Excuse me,” I said getting off his lap and then running out of the room like my life depended on it.

“Why do you look flustered?” Addison asked when I finally answered her video call.

“Are your lips swollen?” she asked me and I touched my lips and then looked at her.

“You were kissed, someone just kissed you,” she said with a smile.

Her eyes widened at this and she looked at me and then frowned.

“Ask your new family if I can come, I am coming to visit you tomorrow,” she said and I nodded.

“Do I still need to do that thing tonight?” I asked her and she nodded.

“Do it, hell make sure that you add those other things. You will need them,” she said and I frowned.

“Do I have to?” I asked her and she nodded.

“You are going to need to, trust me on this,” she answered and I nodded.

I didn’t go back to my office because I honestly can’t be in the same room as that man.

During dinner I sat with everyone and tried to master the courage.

“Alpha Dante, I have a friend Addison and she would like to visit. Is it okay if she comes to visit tomorrow?” I asked Alpha Dante who nodded.

“Addison? You want her to visit you?” Sasha asked me and I nodded.

“I don’t understand why you are friends with that loud mouth,” she retorted but I didn’t answer.

“I think it is a good idea to bring a friend over. You are in an unfamiliar place and considering the circumstances that bought you here. You can bring over as many friends as you want,” Mrs Odell

said and I looked at her.

She had a smile on her face and it was gentle and welcoming.

“Thank you,” I said.

I got to my room and took a bath and when I was done Alpha Dante went in to take a shower.

As he was showering I started thinking about everything that Addison told me to do.
