“Why are you busy engaging with her? I thought you didn’t like her and that she was bad for us,” I

said to Onyx.

“She is interesting, she has piqued my interest,” he answered and I looked at Jade.

Her eyes were wide as if she didn’t believe what she just said.

“I will go and see if Addison is ready or not,” she said and then stormed out of the room.

This would give me more time to speak to my wolf who has suddenly changed his mind.

“That is not a good enough reason. You were giving me hell for having feelings toward her, I said to Onyx who sighed.

“I don’t know how to explain. But that night when I looked into her eyes. I felt this connection! cannot explain,” he said and I sighed.

He said that she isn’t our mate so what connection do we share with her?

Onyx feels a connection with her and doesn’t know how to explain it.

I walked to my bedroom and found Sasha getting ready and she turned to look at me.

“How do I look?” she asked me and I smiled at this.

“You look beautiful, I have something for you,” I said.

I took out the necklace I bought for her and then helped her put it on.

“It’s beautiful, thank you,” she said looking at it.

“I need to talk to Jade about something. I will be right back,” she said and then walked out.

I looked outside and sighed, what the hell am I doing?

“We should go downstairs, everyone is waiting for us,” Sasha said and I got up.

I looked around for Jade but caught her scent and she was already downstairs.

I was hoping we would walk down the stairs together.

She is my wife after all and is the person that saved this alliance.

Sasha and I walked down the stairs hand in hand.

Everyone stopped and then looked at us.

I watched how that guy was saying something to her and she smiled and then nodded.

This man is unbearable, he always tries to find ways to look down on me.

chuckled.

I looked down to hide how much I was fuming at that moment.
