“I need to go,” I said to Dante who shook his head.

He buried his head in my neck and pulled me even closer.

“Don’t go,” he said and I sighed at this.

moved away.

“You will pay for this,” he said and I just smiled and got up.

“See you tomorrow,” I said as I walked out of my room and went straight to Addison’s room.

The moment I walked in I found her waiting for me with a smile on her face.

“You and Dante,” she said and I looked at her confused.

“What about us?” I asked her and she just shrugged.

“Nothing, want to watch a movie? How about The Notebook or Pride and Prejudice?” she asked

me and I nodded.

I sat down and we started watching a movie and there was a knock on the door.

I looked at Addison who walked to the door and opened it.

“Knock like that again, I won’t let it go,” she said the moment she opened the door.

“What will you do?” Vanessa asked her and Addison scoffed.

“Do it again and you will find out,” Addison retorted.

I looked at them as they were staring down at each other.

My eyes then landed on my older sister whose eyes were also on me.

“We need to talk,” she said and I looked at the TV screen.

“I am busy,” I said and she sighed and walked in.

“You can’t marry Stephen,” she said and I looked at her confused.

“A few days ago you were accusing me of trying to seduce your mate,” I pointed out to her.

“I didn’t mean any of it. I was just angry and hurt,” she answered and I nodded.

I watched how she frowned as she looked at me.

which would in turn affect her. But what about you?” I asked her.

I watched as she looked at Sasha as if trying to find a reason.

“I am here as a concerned friend,” she answered and I scoffed at this.

“A concerned friend huh? I don’t believe you one bit,” I retorted.

She was about to say something else but I raised my hand.

“Look around you, everyone here is actually someone that matters. My sister is the Luna of this pack, I was the coven leader and also might be the future Luna of this pack,” I pointed out.

“I am the wife to the Beta, not only that, but I was also the right hand of the Coven leader, Addison

added.

“But what are you? A nobody like you shouldn’t interfere in these matters,” I said.

I watched as she closed and opened her mouth like a fish but no response.

I looked at Addison who winked at me for a job well done.

“That isn’t why we are here, are you going to marry Stephen?” Sasha asked me.

“Yes, why wouldn’t I?” I asked her and watched as she looked at me surprised.

“Oh, don’t act so surprised Sasha. I can also be selfish like you, you sacrificed me to your mate so you could be Luna. I am okay with sacrificing you and everyone else to be Luna as well,” I

explained.

“Mom would never let that happen,” she said and I chuckled at this.

She looked at me and I could tell she was having an internal debate with herself.

“Tomorrow night, Stephen and I will mate and you will be nothing,” I said to Sasha and then looked

at Vanessa.

“But don’t worry, we are sisters after all so I will have a little mercy on you,” I added.

“You think Stephen cares about you? He will throw you away like the rubbish you are,” Vanessa said and I just shrugged.

“That’s if I don’t throw him away first. And I am not like the both of you. I really don’t need Stephen,

he is the one that needs me,” I answered.

“The same way you and your mate need me. My existence in this place is necessary. Can the same be said about the both of you?” I asked them.

“Addison, talk some sense into her. You said it, Felix is my mate’s Beta, if Dante isn’t Alpha then Felix won’t be Beta,” Sasha said to Addison who shrugged.

“I am not really that invested in Felix. And since my best friend will be Luna, then she can talk to Stephen on Felix’s behalf. Every Alpha needs a Beta,” Addison responded.

The two of us looked at the best friends and I couldn’t help but smile as I looked at them.

Two birds one stone, no, in this case, it is more than just two birds.

“I can’t believe this, you would do this to your only sister?” Sasha asked me with tears in her eyes.

“I am only doing what you did to me,” I answered and she shook my head.

“I did what I did because I was helpless. I did what I did to save my marriage. You are doing this for revenge,” she retorted and I just shrugged.

“It really doesn’t matter why I am doing this,” I answered and then got up.

I opened the door for them and then smiled.

“If Stephen wasn’t an asshole and was correct about the title being his. Would you still have said.

I looked at her confused, why is she asking me such a question?

“Why are you asking me that?” I asked her and she smiled.

“I am asking you because I want to know the answer. Had he really just wanted to be a fair Alpha, and he was a good perso, who would you side with? Dante or Stephen?” she asked me.

“Would Dante be the asshole in this situation?” I asked her and she shook her head.

“Dante was just as he is now. He hadn’t changed,” she answered and I thought about it.
