‘You’ve gone too far,” Stella snarled. “You knew those medicinal ingredients clashed with one another, yet you mixed them on purpose just to upset my stomach. This is no different from poisoning me.”
‘You dared to tamper with my food, yet you didn’t have the guts to use real deadly poison,” she snapped. ‘Your courage is paper–thin. If you hoped to warn or threaten me with this petty trick, you’re wasting your time. I’ll make you pay a thousand times over for every wrong you’ve done…”
Who says I lack the courage to truly poison you?” Margaret met her glare without fear, a lazy grin on her lips. “That wig suits you well. I never expected you’d resort to wearing one. I’m honestly impressed.”
Those words ignited Stella’s full rage. “It was you! You’re vicious and cruel! How dare you ruin my hair?”
Margaret blinked slowly. “Why shouldn’t I? You’ve spent years plotting to make me gain endless weight and ruin my life. I only returned a small favor. You love running to others to tattle, don’t you? Why not tell everyone about this? Could it be you’re terrified they’ll see your bald head beneath that wig?”
Stella let out a shrill scream and shoved Margaret away hard. “Margaret, I’ll make you pay for my hair!”
She scanned the empty path around them, then raised her hands and slapped her own face over and over.
Nadia caught on to her scheme at once and shouted at the top of her lungs, “Help! Stop! Ms. Campbell, don’t hurt Ms. Stella Campbell!”
After slapping herself raw, Stella sank down onto the cold stone ground. “You’ve sealed your fate, Margaret.”
She let out another piercing shriek that echoed across the entire Prime Minister’s Estate.
Before anyone could rush over, Margaret lunged forward and kicked Stella square in the face.
“You started this,” she said coldly. “Don’t blame me for finishing it\”
She landed another harsh kick without hesitation.
Screams rang out nonstop. Nadia charged toward Margaret in a blind rage, but Margaret shoved her aside with one quick push, sending her crashing to the ground. Margaret pinned Stella to the pavement, pulled out thin acupuncture needles, and pressed them to Stella’s cheek.
“Let me teach you what real slander looks like,” she smiled.
She grabbed Stella’s collar and struck her twice across the face with sharp, loud smacks.
Yet the moment she pulled the needles away, Stella’s skin smoothed out instantly. No red marks, no bruising–not a single trace of the blows remained on her face.
“Beauty acupuncture,” Margaret said plainly. “No matter how harsh the injuries to your skin within a single

day, your face will stay smooth and flawless. But when you wake tomorrow morning, your whole face will swell up like a giant, bloated pig. No need to thank me for letting you look perfect for one more day— every cruel trick always comes due.”
She took another fresh acupuncture needle and pricked her own forehead gently.
A dark bruise spread across her skin in an instant, and fresh blood began trickling from her nose.
Margaret tilted her head back with a sharp wince. “Oops, I pressed too hard. I’ll end up losing quite a bit of blood over this.”
She smudged the fresh blood across her cheeks and chin, then screamed at the top of her lungs, “Help! Somebody come quick! She’s trying to kill me!”
Stella froze completely, stunned and caught off guard.
Footsteps thundered closer as servants and guards hurried toward the commotion.

Nadia scrambled to her feet and shoved Margaret down violently. “Get off her! Don’t you dare hurt Ms. Stella Campbell!”
The light push sent Margaret sprawling onto the ground. She lay motionless, unable to rise.
Stella’s mind reeled in shock and confusion.
