Several male attendants were dancing on the dance floor. Elowen pointed at them and said, "Just pick whoever you like! The bill is on me!"
Thalia was already tipsy. She felt dizzy—everything seemed to be spinning in front of her. The attendants seemed to have two shadows when she looked at them.
She could no longer tell the directions and casually pointed at a dark silhouette not far away.
The man was wearing a finely tailored black shirt, which was simple but refined. A few of the buttons were undone. He exuded an air of confidence with a hint of seductive charm.
His face was even more perfect, with defined features and clean lines. He had one hand in his pocket while speaking into his phone with the other. His posture was relaxed yet elegant.
His expression suddenly shifted midway through the conversation, and he turned his gaze toward Thalia.
Their eyes met for a split second. Thalia blinked, thinking she must be imagining things. She rubbed her eyes and looked again.
Elowen noticed that Thalia's attention wasn't on the male attendants and assumed she was being self-conscious. "Come on, you're already here. Have some fun."
She gestured at a sweet young man, and he obediently walked over.
She openly placed her hand on his chest the moment the man approached. She even looked back and said, "This one looks pretty good. He has a nice body and pecs. I think he's especially suitable for you."
With that, she pushed the man toward Thalia. "I have something to attend to. I'll be back soon. Be sure to enjoy yourself."
Thalia chased after her in unsteady steps when she saw her leaving. "Are you just going to leave me here?"
Elowen blinked innocently. "What's there to worry about?"
