She Turned Her Grief Into Wings novel Chapter 169

Caden had been sitting in his car for a while when Solomon finally came out.

“I asked the manager. He said they were having some sort of business dinner.”

He shut the car door. “As for the woman, she seems to be Rhys's sister. Goes by the name Vivienne Sinclair.”

“Vivienne Sinclair. Someone from Port City?”

Solomon shook his head. “No idea. Who knows if she's a real sister or a fake one.”

He leaned back, feeling something digging into him, and pulled it out from behind his back with a grimace.

It was a photo frame.

When he saw the picture, his eyes lit up. “Oh, look at this! A couple's photo.”

He shot Caden a sideways glance. “I was wondering why you suddenly came looking for me. Turns out you were just sitting here pining over her picture.”

Caden's gaze sliced over to him as he snatched the photo right out of Solomon's hands and placed it off to the side.

Solomon pouted. “Tch. So territorial.”

“Do you know who they were meeting with?”

Solomon shook his head. “Nope.”

“Aren't you a shareholder here?”

He rolled his eyes. “Even shareholders have to respect customer privacy. We run a highly professional establishment, okay?”

“Why, do you think there's something shady about Rhys?”

Caden looked out the window. “Things haven't been peaceful at Hayes Group lately. I suspect that aside from Zachary Sutton and Marcus Hayes, there's another faction operating behind the scenes.”

“Several projects in the coastal regions have run into problems recently.”

Solomon stroked his chin thoughtfully. “Right, Rhys supposedly came from Port City. So you suspect him?”

“Mhm.”

The two hadn't been waiting in the car for long when they saw a vehicle pull up to the entrance, followed by a group of people walking out.

Rhys was leading the group, supporting a middle-aged man by the arm.

“Bennett Howell?”
