By evening, the sudden downpour had stopped.
Outside the window, water droplets rolled off the green leaves.
Clear and transparent.
The massive bedroom had finally quieted down.
Luther had finished four times.
The woman was utterly exhausted, but she was worried about Annie. She tried to push herself up, but the man pressed down on her delicate shoulder. "Wilma will take good care of her."
Hilda lay back on the bed, staring blankly into space.
She wouldn't care about this sort of thing like a naive girl.
But she could clearly feel Luther's dominance.
His attitude toward her was different from before.
—It seemed a bit more obsessed.
Yet, when they did it, there was an underlying intent to humiliate her.
He was probably angry!
Hilda lay on the pillow, letting the man admire her.
She closed her eyes slightly and asked him, "When are you going to do what you promised?"
Luther sat leaning against the headboard next to her, scooping up her black hair and letting it fall back onto her pale, slender back, appreciating the woman's allure. After a long while, he softly spat out a few words. "Soon."
Hilda gently closed her eyes.
Luther stared at her perfect profile.
Because he was angry, he had pushed her to the absolute limit.
It felt incredibly good, incredibly thrilling.
His body was sated beyond measure.
But his heart felt incredibly empty.
He leaned down to her ear and deliberately murmured, "You're mine now, Hilda."
The woman seemed to have fallen asleep.
Luther knew she wasn't actually asleep.
She just didn't want to talk to him, didn't want to face him. Her heart was entirely filled with Harrell.
The colder Hilda was.
The more dominant and rough Luther treated her.
Ever since she returned to him, he would hold her and do that with her almost every night. He would force her to say his name, making her say 'Luther' or even 'husband' over and over again. If Hilda refused, he would torment her until she couldn't take it anymore.
Of course, these were their private marital affairs.
