Liana pulled herself out of her thoughts and stopped thinking about Logan.

She opened her laptop and reviewed the key points she had noted down that afternoon. Then, she quickly began drafting the divorce litigation plan for Zayn and Olivia, following Lucinda’s instructions precisely.

She ensured she built a chain of evidence, strategized the division of assets, and identified leverage points in the custody battle. She even planned out how to guide public opinion so that Olivia’s reputation would be completely ruined.

As the night started to deepen, insects chirped nonstop outside. In the room, only the crisp tapping of the keyboard could be heard.

Liana had no idea how much time had passed before she finally finished drafting the last document, applying for an asset-preservation order.

Liana let out a long sigh of relief as she glanced at the time, noticing that it was already 11:00

She sent all the newly drafted documents to the printer, planning to print everything out and review the details in the morning.

But as the first pages slowly came out of the printer, the villa door was suddenly kicked open from the outside with a loud bang.

Liana jumped in fright, darting up from the couch and looking over in shock.

Two tall bodyguards in black suits stood on either side of the doorway, and Logan walked in with a dark, heavy expression on his face.

Liana’s heart sank.

How did he find this place?

She had this villa before she even got married, so how did he locate it so quickly?

Unless he had someone follow her this whole time.

Logan stepped inside, sweeping his gaze across the villa.

The decor was simple, and it wasn’t that large. In fact, one could even call it shabby compared to the three-story building where he and Liana lived.

Logan tilted his head slightly as he looked at Liana, smirking at her mockingly. “You’re staying at a place like this?”
