Liana sneered internally. Olivia was truly an artist of words, possessing top-notch abilities to

distort the facts.

Nevertheless, the nosy public around them did not buy into her words.

“This woman got out of Logan’s car? She’s Olivia Chase?”

“It’s proven-she’s the mistress. What else is she arguing about?”

“This is truly an eye-opener. How daring of the mistress to tag along with the asshole. She’s even addressing Liana in such an affectionate voice. Doesn’t she feel disgusted at all?”

“Just look at her, pretending like she’s as innocent as a lamb. How ridiculous.”

The disdainful condemnation around them intensified. Logan listened to the comments around them, then took a glance at Olivia, who was crying rivers next to him. Instantly, he knitted his brows together.

He lowered his voice and questioned in a displeased tone, “Didn’t I tell you to remain in the car?”

The public opinion online was already giving him a bad headache in the first place. Young Corporation’s share price had dropped significantly because of this matter.

Right now, Olivia even stepped out of his car in front of all these people. Wasn’t she just adding fuel to the fire by doing so?

Logan didn’t wish to linger there. He took a deep breath, then turned his attention toward Liana. “How much is Lucinda paying you? I will pay you double if you give up on helping her and walk away from this case.”

Upon hearing that, Liana curled her lips into a cold smirk. As she looked into Logan’s eyes, she replied, “Sure. It will be ten million dollars.”

Instantly, the air around them came to a standstill. The expressions on Logan’s and Olivia’s faces tensed up simultaneously as they stared at Diana in disbelief.

“Are you mad?” Through gritted teeth, Logan growled, “Liana, are you actually unaware of the position Young Corporation is in at the moment? The company’s entire cash flow has been invested in the new project, and we haven’t recovered anything yet.

“How could I possibly get my hands on ten million dollars for you?”

His eyes filled with disappointment and disdain when he stared at her as if she were an endlessly greedy gold-digger.

Extremely disgusted by the look on his face, Liana let out a scoff. Mercilessly, she retorted, You’ve got to be kidding me, Mr. Young. You ever have the money to raise someone else’s son. How could a mere ten million dollars be difficult for you?”

The moment she said that, Logan furrowed his brows, and a strange look came across his face.

Liana noticed the change in his facial expression swiftly. She turned her head to the side and took a quick glance at Olivia next to him, only to see her shifty eyes and her subconsciously tightening her grasp on his arm.

An extremely ridiculous idea flashed across Liana’s head like lightning. She narrowed her eyes, a realization dawning on her instantaneously.

Liana felt a heavy tightness in her chest as a mixture of fury and amusement filled her. She looked at the shameless couple before her as if they were nothing more than a vile and comical spectacle.
