Chapter 26
Dora felt a little more at ease inder everyone’s watchful eyes, she took out the ingredients she had exchanged from the Universal Spacetime Barter System.
The ingredients were incredibly fresh. The green lettuce and cucumbers still had dew on them and gave off an enticing fragrance.
When Dora presented these ingredients in front of Clive, Elmer, and Lioren, their eyes unanimously widened. They thought, ‘Dora’s Spatial Realm actually has such good produce?”
Then, Elmer’s and Lioren’s eyes all flashed with regret.
But Clive’s unfathomable eyes glinted with anticipation, because he and Dora were already married. He could not only eat the delicious ingredients, but also absorb the crystal energy they brought.
The other two, however, could only satisfy their cravings and appetites. Still, that was better than drinking nutrient drinks.
Dora spoke up first, “Tonight, we’ll have a proper meal. I’ll cook, and Clive will help. Elmer, can you use your healing supernatural ability to treat the kitten before we eat?”
Elmer agreed readily, “Of course. Whatever Dora says goes.”
With Clive’s help, Dora cooked a meal of braised craghyena meat with potatoes, a vegetable salad, and fragrant pasta. The smell alone made the three of them swoon.
Once the family was seated, Dora announced eagerly, “Time to eat.”
They rarely ate alien beast meat normally, because it was tough and gamey, and extremely hard to swallow. Other than filling the stomach, it had no other effect, so it was worse than drinking nutrient drinks.
But during Dora’s cooking process, the aroma that wafted out made them unable to believe it. They thought, ‘Is this the smell of craghyena meat?”
Clive, Elmer, and Lioren each took a puzzled bite, and their eyes all lit up. At the same time, wisps of crystal energy slowly flowed into their limbs and bones as they swallowed. The three of them exchanged shocked glances.
Clive was surprised because he never expected craghyena meat to contain crystal energy. Elmer and Lioren were shocked that they could absorb crystal energy, and from craghyena meat, of all things, which shouldn’t have any crystal energy.
Dora took a bite of the craghyena meat and nodded with satisfaction. “The taste isn’t bad, right?” She mistook their astonished looks as shock at how good the food was.
Soon after, Dora also felt wisps of crystal energy slowly spreading through her body.
Dora thought, ‘What’s going on? The ingredients weren’t grown in my Spatial Realm, were they? Could it be that because the Universal Spacetime Barter System fused with my Spatial Realm, any food I take out now contains crystal energy?
What about the meat? What’s up with the meat? Could it be because of the seasonings?”
All four had different thoughts running through their minds. After exchanging glances, Clive. Elmer, and Lioren quickly lowered their heads and dug in. No one said a word.
After the meal ended, they found that they had each recovered about ten percent of their crystal energy. Their bodies began to feel replenished and very comfortable.

Chapter 20-
mer was the first to start clearing the dishes. He said cheerfully. “Dora, I’ll put the leftover ingredients in the fridge. Tomorrow morning. I’ll make everyone breakfast.”
Dora nodded in agreement. She took out the three Level–2 crystal cores and three Level–1 crystal cores Clive had given her earlier and said, “These are the crystal cores from the craghyenas Clive hunted.
“I used one Level–1 crystal core, but it didn’t do much for my Spatial Realm’s supernatural ability. We’re heading to the training zone tomorrow, so you all take these to stabilize your supernatural abilities.”
As she spoke, she split the crystal cores into three portions, each containing one Level–1 crystal core and one Level–2 crystal core. She handed them to the three of them.
Clive pushed the crystal cores in front of him back toward Dora. “Level–1 and Level–2 crystal cores are of no real use to me either. You hold onto them for now.”
Elmer hastily pushed his share back to Dora as well. “Dora, Level–1 and Level–2 crystal cores don’t do much for me either. You’d better keep them for your own upgrades.”
Lioren used his little cat paw to push the crystal cores back to Dora, too, making it clear he also had no use for them.
Now Dora was the one completely confused. “Don’t you all need crystal energy reserves?”
Elmer jumped in first to answer, “Eating the food produced by your Spatial Realm is enough for us.”
Hearing that, Dora looked questioningly at Lioren. The proud little cat actually nodded in agreement, too.
Dora asked, “You two can also absorb crystal energy from food?”
Elmer and Lioren once again nodded in unison. This discovery surprised not only Dora, but Clive as well. Each of them returned to their own tents with their own thoughts.
Dora went back to her tent, lay down on her soft cushion, and/closed her eyes contentedly. She thought, “This meal is the most satisfying one I’ve had since coming here.
‘Alien beast meat cooked with seasonings also contains crystal energy. Then once I harvest the peanuts and turn them into peanut oil to cook the decent–tasting alien beast meat, I won’t have to worry about the production capacity of my Spatial Realm anymore, right?”
Dora’s thoughts drifted as drowsiness washed over her, and she fell into a deep, pleasant sleep. Lioren, curled up in the corner, also let out soft little snores, content and comfortable.

The next morning. Dora woke to the rich aroma of food and Elmer’s light, cheerful humming.
She stepped out of her tent and found the simple cooking counter already set with breakfast: three servings of pan–fried meat with lettuce, one small portion, and two large ones. Next to each serving was a bowl of steaming soup.
“Dora, you’re up. Come and try it. How’s my cooking?” Elmer had tied on a checkered apron, and his eyes sparkled as he sought credit.
Dora was a little surprised. She took a bite, and the taste was actually pretty good. “It’s delicious, Elmer. You’re a cooking genius.” she praised him without holding back.
Eliner immediately beamed, as if an invisible tail was wagging behind him.
Clive had already seated himself on a low stool in the corner at some point. He ate with measured slowness, his movements
