Lioren squirmed in resistance at first. But under Dora’s stubborn hold and her lowvoiced persuasion that he needed to conserve his strength, he eventually settled down awkwardly. He turned his head to the side, facing everyone with the back

of his head.

Clive pointed to a larger wilderness survival storage kit he had prepared beside him and said. Dora, put this into your Spatial Realm. If we can’t gather enough materials today, we can rest in the training zone for a night and continue

tomorrow.

Dora nodded. It seemed Clive was quite adept at wilderness survival. She waved her hand and stored the kit in her Spatial Realm.

Elmer lifted an insulated storage box, not wanting to be outdone. Dora, these are our leftover ingredients. You keep them for now, and we’ll eat when we get to the training zone. I also packed enough nutrient drinks for three days. They’re all in here.”

Dora nodded and praised him, Elmer, you’re so thoughtful.” She waved her hand and stored the insulated box Elmer was holding in her Spatial Realm.

She wanted to say that her Spatial Realm had a timestasis function, so the insulated box wasn’t necessary, but then she thought better of it. She shouldn’t reveal too many differences between herself and other interstellar females to avoid inviting trouble.

Fully geared up, they walked toward the aircraft Clive had parked outside the base. The aircraft had a matte black exterior, understated and steady, very much in line with Clive’s personality.

The Spatial Realm inside was larger than Dora had imagined. There were three rows of seats. The first row had a spacious driver’s seat and a passenger seat.

The second row was a threeseater with an aisle beside it, and the very back had a spacious fourseater. The layout was simple, roomy, and practical.

Dora, holding Lioren, naturally took the passenger seat. Elmer pouted unhappily and protested, Dora, come sit in the back. I’ll protect you.”

Clive turned his head and gave Elmer a cold glance. He then started the aircraft and took off without any room for argument. Sit still and don’t move around,” Clive remarked. The words were aimed at Elmer, but it was also a warning to Dora.

It was Dora’s first time riding in an aircraft. She was both excited and curious, looking around everywhere eagerly,

The three males were all speechless, thinking, She’s the heiress of the Southwell family. An aircraft is a mode of transport that ordinary families might not be able to afford, but the Southwell family certainly would. Does she really need to be this excited?

Twenty minutes later, Clive piloted the aircraft to the entrance of the intermediate training zone.

The comprehensive combat zone that belonged to the intermediate training zone was located on the outer edge of the city’s protective circle, deeper into the wilderness than the basiclevel training zone Dora had visited last time.

The moment they stepped off the aircraft, they found the scene before them was completely different from places with the city’s protective shield.

The sky seemed lower, the air thicker with the smell of metal and the complex scent of mutated plants. The low roars of alien beasts echoed faintly in the distance.

the entrance was no longer a simple fence, but a heavy alloy gate and an energy detection barrier. Scanning one’s identity and evaluating one’s rank or the team’s overall rating was required to enter and exit.

Clive stepped forward and displayed his personal terminal. His information flashed across the detection screen.

When the guards beside the gate saw the Level4 Pinnacledesignation, their attitude became noticeably more respectful. Their gazes swept over Dora, Elmer, and Lioren in Dora’s arms behind him. Though slightly puzzled, the guards still let them through without issue.

The moment they stepped into the comprehensive combat zone, a rugged and dangerous atmosphere hit them headon.

Tall, twisted mutated trees cast dappled shadows. The energy particles in the air were more active, but also more chaotic.

Dora spoke up, The map shows that Zones D7 through C3 have a low chance of yielding ironwoods and soft crystal ores. Both are supplementary materials needed for basic construction.

Also, earth lizards and glow beetles are often active near the edge of Zone C. Both are Level1 to Level2 alien beasts with weak combat abilities.”

Dora recalled the information she had crammed last night as she spoke in a low voice to her teammates, all the while vigilantly scanning her surroundings.

Clive walked at the very front, his steps steady, his sharp eyes sweeping every corner that might hide danger. A faint, cold aura radiated from him, making some lowlevel creatures lurking in the dark instinctively retreat.

He didn’t speak, but it was clear he took Dora’s words in. He adjusted their direction slightly, moving closer to the edge of

Zone C.

Elmer was much more active. At times, he ran about thirty feet ahead to carefully distinguish the scents and subtle sounds

in the air.

At other times, he circled back and reported to Dora in a low voice, There’s a buildup of decaying plant matter ahead to the left. There might be rustvines hiding there. We should go around them.

There are signs of small rodenttype alien beast activity behind the rocks on the right. No threat.

Lioren, cradled in Dora’s arms, looked lazy, but in truth his amber eyes remained halflidded and sharp. His pupils contracted and dilated with the shifts in the ambient light, and his ears constantly swiveled in different directions.

The first place they reached was a stretch of gravel beach at the edge of Zone C1.

It was relatively open with good visibility, but the ground was littered with shell fragments that glowed with faint phosphorescence. A strange, faint odor, something like a mix of ozone and decay, hung in the air.

Glow beetle habitat,” Clive whispered, signaling everyone to lighten their steps.

Soon, at the shaded side of a massive boulder, they spotted several glow beetles crawling slowly and rubbing against the rock

face.

They were about the size of a basin, their shells a dark green with irregular yellow phosphorescent spots on their backs.

They glowed faintly in the dim light, their mouthparts wriggling. They looked rather gross, but just as the information said, they were slowmoving and not very aggressive.

I’ve got this.Elmer volunteered, a flash of excitement crossing his light brown eyes. He lowered his body, his fingers turning sharp. His figure shot out like an arrow, heading straight for the nearest glow beetle.
