The Alpha’s Mafia Luna
Chapter 107
Serene’s POV
I woke up to golden sunlight slipping through gauzy curtains. The scent hit me first–rich cedarwood, citrus, and a hint of something darker. Something
primal.
Damian.
My eyes shot open. The silk sheets slid against my bare skin. I froze.
I was naked.
In his bed.
Again.
Panic prickled beneath my skin. My thighs ached. My lips felt swollen. I didn’t need to remember to know what happened.
But I did remember.
Every. Damn. Second.
His hands on my hips, pinning me down like I belonged to him. His lips moving down my skin like a man who hadn’t tasted water in days. The way he
whispered against my neck in that deep, gravelly voice-
“You’re mine, Serene. Say it.”
“You don’t get to run anymore.”
“God, you’re so beautiful. So damn sweet.”
He’d been rough, but tender. Possessive, but worshipful. And I’d let him. No–I’d wanted it. Craved it,
Damn him.
I sat up, the silk sheet barely covering me, I looked around the room–too lavish, too perfect, too him.
The bathroom door creaked open.
Damian walked out, water dripping from his hair, a white towel slung low around his hips. His muscles gleamed under the light, like he was carved from marble. But those ocean–blue eyes–they were on me like heat.
My mouth went dry.
“What did you do to me?” I asked, my voice raspier than I expected.
He smirked like he’d just won a war. “Stop acting like this is the first time.”
1 scowled. “You know how drunk I was last night. You took advantage of me.”

He took a slow step closer, running a towel over his wet hair. “Drunk? Nah. You were lit, but you knew exactly what you were doing.”
My throat tightened. “You’re such an arrogant bastard.”
“You were begging for it, Serene.” He looked me straight in the eye. “You wrapped your legs around me and said, ‘Don’t stop. Please, Damian.“”
My face flamed. “You’re insane.”
“And you loved it,” he said.
I clenched the sheet around me. “How could you mark me without my consent?”
He stopped drying his hair, lips curling. “Because you’ve always wanted me to. I just finally did it… when it felt right.”
“Felt right for you, maybe,” I snapped. “Not for me.”
He walked closer, dropping the towel from his hair onto the bed. “Serene… I’ve waited years to make you mine again. Last night, I did.”
“You are delusional,” I muttered, standing and grabbing my dress. I wriggled into it as quickly as I could.
“You can try to act tough,” Damian said, brushing a wet strand of hair back. “But I know how your body responded to me. I know the truth.”
“Where are you going?” Damian asked, watching me like a predator watches its prey.
I zipped up my dress with shaking hands. “Well, sorry to burst your ego, Alpha Mr. Damian Wolfe Voss, but I have a life outside this beautiful–ass prison you
call home. I have a job. A decent one.”
“You’re going to quit working for Lucas,” he said calmly. “You’re coming back home.”
I paused. “Excuse me?”
“You heard me.”
“Oh, hell no. I’m not your Luna, Damian. You don’t get to make decisions for me. I’m not yours to claim.”
His voice dropped, almost growling. “But you are marked. Your scent changed, You are mine.”
He stepped behind me, breathing hot on my neck, where the mark still throbbed, His lips hovered behind my ear.
“You’re mine, Serene. And you’ve always known it,”
“In your dreams,” I hissed, snatching my heels and stomping toward the door,
He didn’t try to stop me.
The estate guards stared as I marched out, head high, heart pounding. I stormed to the road and waved down a cab.
As I climbed in, the cab driver–a middle–aged man with kind brown eyes–glanced at me through the rearview mirror.
“You alright, miss?”

1 blinked. “What?”
He nodded at me through the glass. “You just… look like someone who’s seen a ghost. Or been reborn.”
I blinked again, startled. I was expecting judgment for the party dress or maybe my hair. Not… that.
I cleared my throat. “Something like that.”
He didn’t ask again. But his eyes said he knew. Knew heartbreak, maybe. Knew pain, or desire, or regret.
When I got to Naia’s apartment, I paid the driver and walked up the stairs, barely able to hold myself together.
Naia was pacing near the window when I walked in.
0475
“Serene!!” she screamed, rushing at me. “I swear I was about to call the freaking cops! Where the hell have you been? I thought Lucas kidnapped you! Or
something bad happened! Or maybe you ran-”
“Naia. Breathe,” I interrupted, almost laughing at her dramatic panic.
“You scared me, jeez!” she said, finally exhaling. “What happened? Why didn’t you come home last night? No phone calls. No text. I thought-” Then her
eyes landed on my neck.
She froze. “Serene.”
Oh, crap.
“You’re marked,” she whispered. “As in freaking marked. Did… did Lucas do this?!”
“Naia,” I said, raising my hands like I could physically stop her mouth from working. “So many questions.”
“I’m your best friend, what did you expect? You come home with a freaking bite mark on your neck! What the hell happened?!”
“It’s not Lucas,” I said softly,
“Then who?”
I looked at her, heart pounding. “Damian.”
Her eyes widened. “What!!!!”
I quickly clamped my hand over her mouth.
“Naia, you’re going to wake the neighbors,” I whispered.
She yanked my hand away. “No no no, you don’t get to just casually drop that and expect me to be calm. Damian? Are you serious? Like the Damian you
left? The one who was always possessive and secretive and killed-”
“Yes, that Damian.”
“Girl, sit down and start talking.”

Chapter 107
I sighed and sat on the couch, burying my face in my hands. “It happened so fast. He took me from the party. We argued. It got heated.”
“Clearly,” she said, pointing to my neck.
I shot her a look.
“And then?” she asked eagerly.
1 shrugged. “Then… everything exploded.”
Naia blinked. “You mean emotionally or sexually?”
I looked away. “Both.”
Naia squealed and slapped my shoulder. “Oh my God! Serene! This is huge!”
“It’s not exciting,” I said flatly. “It’s a mess. A confusing, painful mess.”
Naia sat beside me, suddenly serious. “Do you still love him?”
I didn’t answer right away. I stared at the floor, my fingers twisting the edge of my shirt. “I don’t know.”
“Do you regret last night?”
“…No.”
s);–
Naia nodded slowly. “Then maybe that means something.”
I looked at her. “I’m not ready for all this. He marked me, Naia. That’s huge.”
“I know. But maybe it’s what you needed to happen.”
I didn’t respond. My heart was torn. I knew I couldn’t just walk away from the mark–or from him–but I also couldn’t throw away everything I had started
to build.
Especially not for someone like Damian.
