Chapter 16: You’re Going With Alpha Alexander
*MELENA*
I closed my eyes, scared. They reopened immediately to hear Eutis.
“Young she-wolf!” I heard her call.
I was glad to hear her and hollered for her to find me.
My body started to become weak, as if it was going to shift back into its human form. I didn’t want it to happen. I howled louder, with all the strength I had in me.
I was afraid of Alpha Strider discovering my cursed human form. I already had the alpha, Alexander, on my tail. I wanted no more trouble.
Miss Eutis approached us attired in her blue nightgown.
“Release her!” she shouted at Alpha Strider as she saw me within his arms.
He dropped me to the ground, and I fell onto my face.
“Hmmm,” I made a soft sound in pain.
Eutis rushed over towards me, lying on the ground.
“Come, let’s get you back to my place,” she said.
I tried to move, but I was unable to. My body had become weaker.
Miss Eutis tried to assist me, but she couldn’t help me up. She wasn’t strong enough.
As she continued, trying to lift me from the ground, she begged Alpha Strider to help.
“No,” said Alpha Strider. “If she can try to escape, then she can help herself.”
He turned his back and started to go his way.
I felt my whole world stop as he described me like I was nothing, like some shit on the grass. I wanted to cry, but I was so tired of doing so. I was angry and tired of people treating me like this, especially the asshole alphas. Who thought they could always take advantage of me?
“Alexander will be here tomorrow at 8 am,” Alpha Strider said as he again went off, not caring what would happen to me.
“Strider!” Eutis shouted again.
He didn’t even look back and shifted into his dark wolf form. Running away.
Eutis stood there staring at him until he was out of our sight.
“She Wolf,” Eutis said while staring sadly into my blue eyes. I may not know you or your name. But I won’t give up on you. I won’t be able to live with myself if Alexander takes you tomorrow. He’s dangerous, and I know he’ll take advantage of your beautiful human form.”
She sat next to me while I lay on the ground, unable to move, and started to rub her left hand on my fur. I rest my head within her lap, scared, wishing what was happening to me was a nightmare and I would wake up from it soon.
The darkness started to disappear within the light. Still, we were on the ground. Neither of us wanted to move.
It was now morning, and Alexander was coming for me at 8 am. I whimper like a puppy.
