The Big Sky Alpha novel Chapter 8

Colt POV

My beta pulled me away to deal with the band that was supposed to already be playing. I turned away from Freya and walked back down behind the stage area behind the curtains.

Damn banjo string busted. Sent one of my gammas, Dalton to find another one before the meals begin to get served. We will just have the band start when I finish giving my speech to kick off the games.

Instructed the band on how to proceed. Once they knew I turned to find my ravishing date. Damn was she beautiful! Her green eyes look like gems digging deep in my soul when she looks at me.

She’s looked amazing since she got here, but tonight she looks like an angel. The white dress clung to her body like she was its life source. Her body owned that dress.

The second she opened the door Max about came out in full swing. My eyes landed on her, and f***ing Aiden kissing her hand. Who the f**k does he think he is. I’ve never been a jealous man with women, I mean I’ve only had a few but none of them were exclusive. Just needed to deal with the haze seasons.

Only lived through 5 of them, never had the same woman for any haze and I know they’ve had others too. None of that bothered me. Why the hell do I care that he’s hitting on her? She’s my fated mate, she can’t be with anyone else so there’s no worry about that.

Still pisses me off that he put his lips on any part of her. Oh s**t. The haze. But how? It just hit this morning. Oh this morning. Her juices all over my fingers. When she got up to wipe off my c*m from her leg I couldn’t help it, I had to taste her. I can’t forget that taste, f***ing perfection! Shit, where’d she go? I was too busy thinking about this morning. I can smell her.

I ran after her. She must be going to her hut again, maybe I can taste her again. I let the thought linger for a moment before I snapped out of it. People lose it during the haze. I’ve ran past people going at it on the tables for goddess sake. I followed her scent but it changed directions.

She’s going to the river? Something seems off, maybe she hates me so much she wanted to go somewhere I might not look. I shook the thought away fast. I followed anyways. Then I saw the problem. 3 wolves were chasing her. Over my dead f***ing body. She must have hit one, I can smell blood.

Thank goddess it’s not hers. They kept running after her, I was far back but I knew I had to get to her. I finally reached her but she jumped in the damn river. F**k. I grabbed the big guy, he was trying to go in after her. He twisted to try to punch me until he recognized me.

In fact, her heart rate was calming down. “It’s stronger for me than it has ever been Freya and I am doing my best, but I need to touch you.” “Find someone else Alpha.” she said, her voice was cracking and sounded very weak. “There is no one else for me anymore.” stubborn little wolf, she doesn’t get it.

She’s not just mine, I’m hers. I closed the gap between us in one step. I brought my hand to her arms that were down at her side. I traced from her upper arm down to her fingers that were just inside her. She tried to choke it back but a light moan escaped her lips. I smiled. “I will do whatever you want me to do, little wolf.

You don’t want me to take you against this tree right now, then I won’t. But I am going to make you c*m tonight, so tell me what you want.”

Every part of me wished she’d say to just take her right here, but I knew better. She’s a virgin, I’m not sure how the hell she’s remained one, but she’s not going to want to give it to me right now.

“Just…” she sighed as she crossed her legs. “Just touch me, please.” it was almost a whimper. Best words I’ve heard my whole life. I need to make this count for her. I need to win her over. “As you wish, Freya.”
