Chapter 353

Chapter 353

Astrid gently moved Andrea aside; her exhaustion cleared as she got to her feet.

She told Andrea, “Just let Antonio and Hazel handle things.”

Hanna quickly supported Astrid back to her room, with Gerardo following close behind.

Andrea’s mind was buzzing. She couldn’t think straight at all.

Hazel turned to the butler and said, “Take someone with you and pack up Andrea’s things.

“Andrea’s just going to stay somewhere else for a while, so just bring a few changes of clothes. No need to pack anything valuable.”

Andrea immediately got flustered. “Hazel, what do you mean by that?”

Hazel explained, “Andrea, I’m only thinking of you. If people see you lugging all your stuff out of the Jordan residence, they might think we’re kicking you out.”

Andrea wasn’t clueless.’

Just at the family reunion, the gifts she got were seriously expensive.

Even if she was only moving out temporarily, there was no way she’d leave those behind at the Jordan residence. She had to take them with her.

Andrea said, “Hazel, I’ll take care of my own stuff. No need to bother anyone else.”

Andrea tried to go upstairs, but Hanna, who had just come back into the living room, stopped her.

Just as Andrea was figuring out how to take her valuables with her, the butler personally came downstairs carrying a suitcase.

Andrea tried to open the suitcase to check inside, but Hazel stopped her. “I’ll drive you to the place you’ll be staying at. You can open it and check once we get there.”

And just like that, the Jordan family managed to coax and maneuver Andrea out of the Jordan residence.

About ten minutes later, they pulled up to a tucked-away studio apartment in Verdantville.

Hazel said to Andrea, “You’ll be staying here for now. Once Grandma cools off, she’ll come pick you up herself.”

Andrea stared at the tiny studio, her face falling. This place was even smaller than a bird’s nest.

It wasn’t even as big as a public restroom, and the furniture looked so beat-up and old, it was clear nobody had lived here forever.

“That bitch really wants me to live in this dump?’ Andrea thought, seethed, her anger boiling over.

She gritted her teeth and glared at Hazel. “Are you seriously telling me to stay here?”

Andrea slammed her suitcase to the ground, her voice laced with threat. “Does Grandma even know you’re treating me like this?”

Hazel looked Andrea up and down and couldn’t help but smirk.

She said, “Andrea, should I call you stupid, or just… Stupid?”

Hazel added, “You gave Grandma a kidney, and you’re her favorite son’s only daughter. If she hadn’t given the green light, who would dare treat you like this?”

Andrea shook her head, disbelief written all over her face. “I don’t believe it. Grandma’s just upset right now. She’ll come take me home herself soon.”

Hazel’s words were like a bucket of ice water, chilling Andrea to the bone. “Do you have any idea what kind of place the Jordan family is?

“Grandma let you in behind our backs before. Now that we know how vicious you really are, do you honestly think we’d ever let you walk through our doors again?”

Andrea’s voice rose, panic making her sound desperate. “I’m family, too! None of you has the right to throw

me out!”

Hazel let out a cold laugh. “Andrea, my in-laws, my husband, his siblings, and me. We’re all tied together, and the benefits we bring to the Jordan family are way beyond anything you could ever imagine.

“Do you really think Grandma would give up all of us, and the entire Jordan family, just for you, who is the woman with such a terrible reputation?”

Andrea’s legs buckled, and she collapsed onto the floor.

Hazel spun around and strode out, her high heels clicking crisply against the floor.

As Hazel stepped out of the apartment, she bumped into Vivian and a few of her friends.

Vivian hurried over, all smiles, hoping to get on Hazel’s good side. “Mrs. Jordan, what are you doing in a dump like this?”

Hazel smiled. “Just getting Andrea set up here.”

Vivian and her friends shot each other a look.

Vivian ventured, “Mrs. Jordan, you mean Andrea’s actually staying here?”

Hazel nodded. “Yeah, she just moved out of the Jordan residence, and she’s not in a great mood right now. Since you’re her friends, maybe you could go up and talk to her, help her see things differently.”

Seizing the moment, Hazel gave Vivian and her friends the apartment info, then got in her car and left.

Inside the apartment, Andrea stared at the bedroom, which looked like a rat’s nest, and yanked at her hair. letting out a scream.

She’d finally managed to get into the Jordan family, one of the most powerful families in the city, and before she could even get her footing, they kicked her out.

She was one of the Jordans, too, and she’d even donated a kidney to Astrid, that old hag. She thought, angrily. ‘How could the Jordan family treat me like this?

‘Astrid kept saying she’d protect me as long as she was around, but the moment my mom and I got dragged online, Astrid just let them kick me out.’

“Astrid, that old hag,” Andrea spat the words out through gritted teeth, seething with hatred.

‘They really think they can just toss me out like this? Not a chance in hell, Andrea thought.

The moment she thought of that bitch Chloe, a plan started forming in Andrea’s mind.

After splashing some water on her face and redoing her makeup, Andrea was about to head out to look for Eric when Vivian and a few friends suddenly showed up at her door.

Vivian and her friends walked in, all smiles. “Andrea, why didn’t you say anything in the group chat about moving? We could’ve come over to celebrate with you!”

Andrea, feeling guilty, started shoving them toward the door. “Get out, all of you!”

Vivian and her friends burst out laughing. “Andrea, you’re the Jordan family’s golden girl. How could you end up living in a dump like this?”

One girl pinched her nose, making a face. “Oh my god, this place is nastier than a public restroom. Is this seriously Andrea’s place?”

Another girl snorted. “Even my dog’s kennel is nicer than this. No way the Jordan family’s heiress lives here.”

“I gotta post this on Instagram and show everyone. The Jordan family’s rich girl actually lives in a place like this,” one of them said.

Vivian and her friends were roasting Andrea nonstop, some busy snapping pics, others filming everything on their phones.

Andrea was about to lose it, her rage boiling over.
