Ever since that dream, Autumn Lopez had started dreaming frequently about the past.
Things that were once fuzzy in her memory were slowly starting to surface.
One day, when Owen Bennett came to the hospital to bring her a meal, Autumn suddenly grabbed his arm and, with a serious look, told him a place name.
“Have you ever heard of this place?”
Owen thought for a moment, then shook his head. “Never heard of it. What is it?”
Autumn said, “I’ve been remembering a lot of things from the past lately, and last night, this name came up several times in my dream.”
“I’m wondering if it has something to do with my mom.”
Owen understood immediately. “I’ll have someone look into it right now.”
He called Julian Moore, who, living up to his reputation as Owen’s most trusted man, delivered a file to the hospital in no time.
“Mr. Bennett, ma’am.”
Julian handed the thick stack of papers to them.
“Regarding the place name you provided, ma’am, I actually found some other unusual things.”
“Would you like to take a look now?”
Autumn nodded. “Bring it all.”
“Here you go.”
Julian passed over the photos he had printed out.
“I found these online. They were pretty blurry, but with today’s technology, I had the IT department restore them. The resolution is as high as it can get now.”
“This woman should be your mother.”
Autumn’s eyes widened as she stared at the photo.

Chapter 322
It showed a woman with a gentle, warm smile. The face was both familiar and strange to Autumn.
Her mother had indeed looked just like that in her memories.
But it had been a very long time since Autumn had last seen her.
Seeing this vibrant image of her mother from so long ago, Autumn’s eyes turned red.
“Yes, that’s my mom.”
Julian continued, “I traced the webpages. It seems there was a massive effort to scrub this content from the internet back in the day. If someone hadn’t posted these old photos a month ago, we probably would have never found them.”
Autumn was stunned. She couldn’t believe someone had posted old photos of her mother just a month ago.
“Who posted them?”
“We only have an IP address, no specific information. It looks like they used a borrowed phone to post them, and the account was deleted right after.”
“We managed to find the person’s phone number, but every time we call, it goes unanswered. It seems to be a number from a very remote area.”
Autumn’s brow furrowed.
“Let’s look at the file first.”
