Owen waved his hand. “Have your people keep an eye on this place. Report any news immediately.”

“Yes, sir.”

Julian gathered the files. Just as he was about to leave, he remembered something. “Oh, by the way, Mr. Bennett, there’s a charity gala in a couple of days.”

“They sent invitations for both you and your wife, but there was a mix–up with the delivery, and they both ended up at the office.”

Owen looked at Autumn. “Do you want to go?”

Autumn wasn’t really in the mood for that kind of event.

But being stuck in the hospital every day, she felt like she was starting to waste away.

“Okay.”

“Will Nina be there?”

Julian shook his head. “Miss Yan didn’t receive an invitation. But even if she had, she probably couldn’t go.”

“The company Miss Yan works for is about to launch a new game. She’s been swamped with work
