Chapter 135
Leeanne nodded. “Alright, thanks for the info!”

The old goat sighed. “My adopted son isn’t exactly easy to like, and he’s always lying and pulling tricks. When you meet him, please, don’t let him get on your nerves…”
Leeanne remained silent.
‘Not likable and always lying? Isn’t that just like old goat himself?‘ she thought.
‘No wonder he’s old goat’s adopted son, she added to herself.
She nodded. “I’ll give it the Spirit Potion and leave as soon as I do. I won’t stick around long enough for him to annoy me.”
The old goat gave Leeanne one last look. “I hope. Thank you!”
Its head tilted to the side, and it stopped breathing.
The old goat looked like he wanted to say something else, but just couldn’t bring himself to.
Leeanne was silent for a long time. She really hadn’t expected that sly old goat to go out like this.
Honestly, he was a real pain, and she figured she shouldn’t care that he was gone. But even so, she couldn’t help feeling a little empty inside.
Little Blue scooted over, stared at the old goat’s body, and blurted out; “Is it really dead?”
Leeanne nodded. “Yeah.”
She used her iron shovel to dig a pit beside her, then buried the old goat.
He had been pretty unpleasant during their brief time together, but he’d also helped her out a lot.
Aside from granting his last wish, the only thing she could do was give him a proper burial.
After burying him, Leeanne headed out right away with Little Blue and Snowy.
After walking about half a mile, as expected, she spotted a pack of wolves.
These lower tier wolves were mostly tier two. After leveling up, Little Blue and Snowy could easily handle them.
The only thing the wolves had going for them was their sheer numbers.
Leeanne gave a few instructions to Little Blue and Snowy, and the two of them charged in like tigers among sheep, almost unstoppable.
Leeanne watched from the sidelines, and once she saw they were in no danger, she finally relaxed.
She scrolled through the Local Chat to see if she’d missed any new messages.
The Local Chat was still going wild:
[What’s going on with Robin and Max? One minute they’re asking who’s got a Teleport Card for sale, the next they’re desperate to know if anyone else landed on the same island.)

[They got surrounded by a pack of wolves–heard those things are all Tier Two and Three, and there’s a whole swarm of them. No way they’re getting out of that!]
[Seriously? I can’t even handle a single Tier Two wolf, and they’re facing a whole army?]
[Yeah, finding a new island can be a huge opportunity, but it’s also a gamble. Robin got way too eager–he just used his entry pass to hop onto one island, then immediately stumbled onto another. Barely set foot before disaster struck. And just their luck, the game suddenly announced a rule change. Now you can actually stay overnight on the islands. Talk about bad timing!]
[Enough with the gossip! If anyone’s got a Teleport Card, just sell one to Robin. That poor guy’s really in trouble.]
Spike: [Teleport Cards are lifesavers. Who’d be crazy enough to sell one?]
Ellery: [Yeah, if you’ve got a Teleport Card, keep it close. You never know when you’ll need it!]
Max: [Spike, Ellery, don’t be so mean!]
Spike: [Hey, I just said a couple things, what’s the big deal?]
Robin: [Is anyone else on this island? I’ve got a summon token!]
Leeanne raised an eyebrow. ‘Robin’s still stuck? Seriously, surrounded by wolves?‘
She glanced at Little Blue and Snowy. ‘We’re probably not in the same place, right? Hope I don’t accidentally rescue Robin.‘
Even though the chances of them being on the same island were low, it was better to be safe than sorry.
Leeanne posted in the Local Chat: [Robin, what kind of wolves are you dealing with? What’s your island like? Trying to figure out if we’re on the same island.]
Robin felt a surge of hope.
Normally, he’d never share his location or let anyone pry info out of him, but after being trapped in this mess for so long, his nerves were shot and he wasn’t thinking straight.
Seeing Leeanne’s question, he quickly replied: [The wolves here are huge, about six feet tall. My island’s got tons of rocks, the trees are massive, and there’s almost no weeds. Leeanne, are you here too?]
Leeanne smiled to herself.
They weren’t on the same island, and even the wolves were a different breed.
‘Nice, no chance I’ll have to bail Robin out. What a relief, she thought.
So she feigned regret and typed, “Sorry, we’re not on the same island, can’t help you.”
Robin let out a sigh, totally deflated.
He quickly sent Leeanne a private message: “Hey, have you used your Teleport Card yet? Can you sell it to me, please?”
Leeanne glanced at his message, and a sudden idea popped into her head.
But she quickly closed the chat, grabbed her whip, and joined the battle against the wolves alongside Little Blue and Snowy.
With Leeanne, Little Blue, and Snowy working together, they wiped out the wolves in no time.

Chapter 135
Leeanne started harvesting loot:
[You killed a Tier Two Gray Wolf. Do you want to dismantle it for materials?]
“Yes!”

[You dismantled a Level 2 Gray Wolf and got 5 wolf meat, 2 wolf fangs, and 1 wolf pelt. Everything’s been stashed in your backpack.]
[You dismantled a Level 2 Gray Wolf…]
Leeanne kept harvesting loot, racking up a ton of wolf meat, fangs, and pelts. Finally, in a patch of alfalfa, she spotted a tiny treasure chest.
She didn’t hesitate and popped it open right away.
[You opened the treasure chest and got 1 Teleport Card.]
‘A Teleport Card?‘ Leeanne thought, her heart skipping a beat.
She couldn’t help grinning, thinking, ‘this was a real treasure, a lifesaver for sure!‘
She stashed the Teleport Card in her backpack and tidied up her inventory.
This time, the three of them took down about a hundred gray wolves in total. Two whole packs.
While they were fighting, both Little Blue and Snowy racked up a ton of experience.
But Little Blue was super frustrated. He’d been competing with Snowy to see who could kill more wolves, and in the end, he realized he’d actually taken out way fewer than Snowy.
Little Blue was fuming.
‘Seriously? Just a few hours ago, that little lamb was all sick and weak, looked like it was about to die, and now it’s kicking my butt?’ he grumbled inwardly.
Little Blue was definitely about to lose it.
Snowy bounced over to Leeanne, nuzzling her hand and showing off with a cute little brag. “Master, aren’t I awesome?”
Leeanne showered her with praise. “Absolutely, little lamb! You’re a real champ!”
“Hmph!” Little Blue scoffed, spread his wings, and took off into the air, planning to fly a few laps to blow off some steam.
“Come back, Little Blue!” Leeanne called out quickly.
They’d been fighting wolves for quite a while, and she figured Bob was probably catching up. Plus, with less than half an hour left before they had to leave the island, she was worried Little Blue might not make it back in time.
Little Blue just snorted and flew off anyway.
Leeanne was frustrated. ‘Little Blue never listens to me. What if I end up losing him on one of these adventures? she thought.
With that stubborn and reckless nature of his, if he ever ran into a real monster, he’d probably wind up as someone’s dinner.

And don’t even get me started on what would happen if he crossed paths with someone as crafty as the old goat. He’d get totally fooled.
‘Man, I really worry about this guy all the time,‘ Leeanne sighed to herself.
“Master, he’s just upset because I outdid him with the wolf kills,” Snowy said, with a smug look in her eyes.
“Wait, you really killed more wolves than him?” Leeanne finally caught on.
Thinking back, that actually checked out.
Little Blue might look fierce, but Snowy was actually quicker at taking down wolves.
“That’s weird. Why is that? You both had the same food, didn’t you?” Leeanne wondered aloud.
Little Blue’s battle power was pretty high, after all.
“It’s because I bonded with you, Master!” Snowy boasted proudly.
“Wait, so the contract actually does that?” Leeanne blinked, genuinely surprised.
“Of course!” Snowy nuzzled up to her, looking smug. “Master, if Little Blue keeps being stubborn, just make a contract with him. Once you do, he won’t be able to disobey you anymore.”
Leeanne thought to herself, ‘I wish I could make a contract with him, but I’m all out of Advanced Pet Contract. Wait a second…‘
‘Robin’s got an Advanced Pet Contract, doesn’t he?‘ she immediately came to a realization.
