‘Here it is, Leeanne thought, her heart pounding with excitement. She quickly called Little Blue over and had it take down the red ribbon.

‘All set!‘ Leeanne finally relaxed and glanced at the time. Over three hours had already gone by.

She grabbed the pure gold key and rushed back to Luminara Hall, went inside, and tried opening the pure gold treasure

chest.

Inside were three rolls of golden silk, the golden light almost blinding Leeanne.

After thinking for a moment, she put away all three rolls of golden silk, unsure how much Bob would need and not wanting to run short later.

In no time, the two octopuses were wrapped around each other, locked in a writhing embrace.

Her singing… was nothing to write home about.

Seeing her stay silent, the merman prince didn’t wait any longer. He raised his hand, and a small seashell floated gently over to her.

Leeanne caught it instinctively.

The merman prince said, “I’m looking forward to hearing you sing.”

Then, with a graceful swish of his tail, he vanished with a soft whoosh.

In just a moment, he was already far, far away.

Leeanne could only see a tiny dot in the distance.

‘Seriously? He took off again! Guess my affection meter still isn’t high enough, Leeanne grumbled to herself, feeling a bit exasperated.

She hurriedly exclaimed, “Omni Radar, Viney, quick, let’s go after him!”

But there was no way they could catch up. After just a few minutes, the merman prince had vanished without a trace, not even a single message in a bottle left behind.

Leeanne let out a sigh, realizing she’d have to come up with another plan.

She turned the little seashell over and over in her hands. It was only about half the size of her palm, nothing special, just a bit prettier than most.

If she wanted to stop the merman prince from turning evil, she had to get his affection meter up to at least 60. Right now, it was only 28, and a day and a half had already gone by.
