Myron was yelling in the chat channel, and Rodger noticed it. He told Leeanne about it.

Leeanne glanced at the chat and texted: [The rules in this game are pretty complicated. Maybe you haven’t unlocked all the requirements yet.]

Myron replied: [What requirements?]

Leeanne: [I don’t know what resources you’ve got or what you’ve done, so how am I supposed to know what you’re missing?]

Myron: [You’re just not telling me on purpose, are you?]

Leeanne: [Now you’re being unreasonable. I’m not the game admin. How would I know everything?]

Danelle chimed in: [Myron, don’t push it. Nobody here owes you anything.]

Someone else jumped in: [Yeah, this game is so damn complicated. Like, we need to expand our raft to 30 feet to unlock the Workbench, or we need wood to break down chests.

[Who can figure out all these weird rules? Myron, why are you making things so hard for Leeanne?]

Another echoed: [For real. Leeanne’s busy making braziers, and every second she spends talking to you is time she can’t make more.]

A third chimed in: [Leeanne, hurry up and make those braziers. It’s almost my turn. Stop wasting time talking to that crazy guy.]

Myron was fuming. [None of you are going to buy my braziers now, right?]

Emmett replied: [Yeah, who’d buy your braziers anyway? I’ve already got one!]

There were tons of people who already had braziers. They were all cozy now, and since the braziers didn’t cost much. everyone liked Leeanne and jumped in to support her.

Myron was absolutely furious, convinced that Leeanne was hiding the real reason he couldn’t make a brazier. He blamed her. [Leeanne, you better hope you don’t run into me.]

Leeanne was left speechless. What did I even do to piss him off? Seriously, what’s his problem?she thought. But what does one even need to make a brazier?

When her raft reached one thousand square feet, she had just gotten the brazier blueprint.

She had opened the workbench and found she could craft it right away. Seriously, she had no idea what other requirements

there were

Besides, she was busy If she spent time figuring out Myron’s requirements, she’d end up making way fewer braziers.

Rodger texted: [Leeanne, you better watch out for Myron and Mick They’re the type to hold a grudge and always get back at you, plus the whole Garcia family’s got some freaky skills I

Myron cursed again in the chat, and Leeanne felt annoyed She thought for a moment, then texted Rodger [Is there a way you could get Myron’s brazier blueprint?]

Rodger replied: [We don’t get along. But if I do get the blueprint, can you help me unlock the requirement)

Leeanne kept making braziers as she texted, [After giving it some thought, I think I have a guess. If you can get the blueprint, let’s figure it out together.]

She only had a handful of items, so it would probably only take a couple tries to unlock it. Rodger had helped her for hours; she owed him a favor.

Rodger went off to do his own thing, while Myron kept ranting in the chat for a bit. Then, all of a sudden, he went silent.

Half an hour later, Rodger messaged Leeanne: [Got the brazier blueprint!]

Leeanne replied: [What’s your raft size at now?]

Rodger: [450 square feet.]

Leeanne: [Hang on to your wood and nails, just give me your iron. I’ll make nails for you, then you expand your raft to one housand square feet.]

Rodger got it right away. A wave of excitement hit him. He happened to have three or four hundred pieces of Leeanne’s wood.

After a while, he finally had enough wood but was still a bit short on nails. So he handed over his iron to Leeanne, and she

rafted the nails and sent them right back.

Rodger was seriously hyped. He had been out at sea for three days now. Even with his luck and all the hustling he had done,

is raft had only grown to 450 square feet.

Wood and nails were hard to get. To expand to one thousand square feet, he needed 550 pieces of wood and 550 nails.

Normally, he had no idea how many more days he’d have to grind to get enough. Thanks to Leeanne, he could bump his aft up to one thousand square feet today.

Rodger felt lucky all over again. He thought teaming up with Leeanne was hands down the smartest move he had ever nade.

He started expanding his raft. A few minutes later, it was done. He opened the workbench and found the brazier crafting option.

Rodger was even more thrilled. Now he could craft his own brazier. People were shivering out there, and braziers were in crazy high demand. He was about to make a fortune.

He rubbed his hands and started crafting, and a brazier appeared instantly. He messaged Leeanne, [Leeanne, look. I just made a brazier!]

Leeanne replied: [Great. Go ahead and start selling braziers too. It’s almost dawn, so you’ve got a few hours left. Don’t let this chance slip byl

Rodger felt a bit embarrassed. Won’t that be stealing your business?

Leeanne chuckled. No way you could take all my business!] She actually hoped more people would make them More braziers meant more survivors.

Rodger thought for a second, then posted: [Now taking brazier orders. 3 iron. 10 wood each Contact me if needed]

Someone immediately chimed in: [Rodger, why’s the price higher now!]

Rodger replied: [Leeanne had her price, this one’s mine.]

That guy was shocked. [Wait, Rodger, you can make braziers now too?]

Rodger: [Yep. Place your orders, folks!]

Myron: [Rodger, how did you get your hands on that brazier blueprint?]

Rodger: [Have a guess?]

Myron snapped: [Really, Rodger? You had someone trick me?]

Rodger: [Wait, how did I trick you?]

Myron: [That brazier blueprint’s mine!]

Rodger: [Got any proof?]
