Two high-pressure water jets stayed locked on both sides of Hayley, blasting away the two zombies that lunged toward her.

Hayley swept her saber sideways in the same instant. With Leonard’s perfect support, she sliced off both zombies’ heads in one clean motion.

Behind them, more zombies roared.

“Raarh!”

“Raarh!”

The ones blasted away earlier crawled back again.

Right there in front of everyone, Hayley raised her hand, and this time, they all saw it clearly.

Water flooded the air around her, gathering in a massive whirl, covering everyone in the space in a heartbeat.

If Leonard’s earlier water jets had been shocking, then Hayley’s ability was on a whole different level.
