Chapter 401

Hayley returned to her shetterand carefully inspected every upgraded part, inside and out.

On the surface, nothing looked different. Everything had simply been reit forced.

The warehouse used to be inside the tunnel. Now, after opening it, she could see another door at the far corner. Once that m door was opened, it led into a super warehouse carved into the mountainside, with ten times the original capacity.

The system equipment on the second floor hadn’t changed in appearance either, but all of it had been fully optimized for performance.

Standing on the second floor and looking down, Hayley felt steady. No matter what was happening outside, her stronghold still here. With her shelter’s current defenses, it could block a zombie tide of 100 thousand without a problem.

She was getting stronger.

Hayley stayed home with Ruby and rested comfortably for two days.

On June 1st, she officially entered the city with Ruby.

Over those two days, the other residents cleared all the bodies from the roads.

They went door to door, hunting down any stragglers. If they spotted a zombie, they avoided it immediately and notified the

combat team to handle it.

The city had been fully reclaimed.

Hayley ordered all residents to move into the city, except for the small bases stationed on the front lines resisting the zombie tides, which remained where they were.

She kept the original autonomy of each base. The residents of every base were still managed by their own base leaders.

Those base leaders, however, were required to follow her commands.

All residents living in the city shared one thing in common: They were all members of Haylight League

First came Haylight League, and then the individual bases beneath it.

Everyone belonged to Haylight League.

In addition, since Hayley had already put her point system into circulation within the smaller bases, once ovest mand the city, the weaker internal point systems were naturally replaced by hers.

In fact, even before this, most bases had already stopped using their own points and only acepted Hayley’s
