Chapter 557
More snarling zombie students poured out behind the first wave, trampling over the ones who had fallen.
They stomped over bodies that were still trying to crawl up, grinding them back into the glass–covered floor. Rotten flest even further under sharp shards.
They didn’t slow down, groaning while running excitedly.
As they rushed down the hall, more crashes echoed from the classrooms ahead.
One room after another exploded open. Students who had been locked inside for years finally broke through. They floode the hallway in batches.
Every face was pale and webbed, with black veins. Everybody showed bite marks.
Almost none of them were whole.
One girl at the front had half her skull missing. As she ran, thick gray fluid sloshed out of the open cavity, trailing down he temple.
“Raarh!”
Hayley stood at the stairwell, took one look at the wave coming, and grabbed Griffin.
They bolted down the stairs.
By the time she reached the fourth floor, she could already see zombies coming up from the third.
“Raarh! Raarh!”
The one in front looked like a cafeteria worker.
It was a big guy with a heavy build. Even dead, it kept that pear shaped frame. A white apron hung over its bulk. White sleeve covers clung to its forearms.
Well, those were once white. Now, they were soaked dark brown with old blood.
Its cloudy eyes locked onto Hayley. A chunk of flesh was missing from its neck, leaving a crooked hole rimmed in dried gore! looked like something straight out of a slasher movie.
“Raarh!”
It barreled up the stairs, arms pumping.
Zombies from every direction converged on the fourth floor
Hayley scanned the layout fast. She could use the stairwell choke point and grind them down in waves
