Chapter 632
As Hayley’s words fell one after another, the expressions around the room begatto change.
“Looks like you refuse to admit your crimes.”
“You’re way too stubborn. That makes your guilt unforgivable.”
Hayley looked at them coldly.
“Spare me the righteous accusations,” she scoffed. “You saw our base becoming a threat, and it scared you. That’s why the then of you joined forces to destroy us. After all, this world has always been survival of the fittest. But I’m no criminal.”
She looked slowly from one group to the next.
“You’re the ones slaughtering people without hesitation. When zombies break through, you don’t care how many civilians die. You run those arena games and bet on human lives. You treat ordinary people like animals. You’re the ones who deserve judgment.”
“Shut up!” Gerard roared. “How we run our base is none of your business! But you said one thing right. This world has always been survival of the fittest. The winners write the rules.
“And today, you lost! You deserve to die. From this moment on, Base K1 belongs to the three Ark bases. If you’re smart, confess right now. Have your people surrender, too. If they cooperate, we might let them live. Otherwise, every last one of them dies.
The Ark Two representative glared at her.
Her base was rich and well built. It was too valuable to destroy completely. That was why their first bombing nun had mainly targeted the defensive walls and farmland.
A zombie-free city like hers was something all three bases wanted/
Today, they would judge Hayley and take Base K1 openly.
So what if she was strong? It was three major bases against one small frontier base. How could she possibly win?
“I’d advise you to stop struggling,” Donald added calmly. “You came here because you wanted to protect your base. If you cooperate, we’ll try to keep you alive.”
Hayley tilted her head slightly. “And how exactly would you do that?”
Both Gerard and Donald turned their attention toward Lance.
The debate had been going on for a while.
One side argued that Hayley should be killed immediately. Another insisted that she shouldn’t die yet.
But either way, she had to be completely neutralized.
Nathaniel had argued fiercely to keep her alive.
After a long discussion, they reached a final decision.
Hayley would live but she would be permanently paralyzed from the neck down. She would spend the rest of her late locked away and controlled.
After that, the discussion moved on to the real prize, Base K1.
Right in front of Hayley, they calmly divided up her territory, her farmland, her supples, and her population. They even discussed how to eliminate her soldiers
The final plan was simple.

Tomorrow, they would bring Hayley back to Base Ki along with her recorded confession.
Her people would be ordered to surrender. If anyone resisted, they would cut off one of Hayley’s hands and throw it down to them. Then, they would bomb the city again.
Base K1 was the prize they intended to claim.
Which meant the trial was nearly finished.
Hayley stood silently in the center of the hall, not saying a word.
Then, she noticed something different. A pair of eyes was watching her from the corner of the room.
She turned and saw a familiar face..
Gideon.
He looked at her with clear worry.
