The Endgame Chronicles (by Hugh White) novel Chapter 633

Chapter 33-

Chapter 633

“Mr. Ford! Something’s wrong! There’s a revolt in our base!”

Across the hall, Donald shot to his feet.

“What did you say?”

“I said, Level One is in chaos! Some residents started a rebellion and let armed outsiders inside the base!”

At that moment, both bases were thrown into complete disorder.

Ark Two had been hit first by an unexpected air attack. Five helicopters had flown over their base, dropping zombies from tl sky. Wave after wave of zombies crashed down into the middle and inner zones.

But that wasn’t even the worst part.

Not long after the zombies landed, another group of armed fighters dropped in. Now, both zombies and hostile forces were inside the base at the same time.

The managers left behind rushed to organize a counterattack.

But then, another disaster hit.

Someone inside the base started a rebellion.

“Sisters! We’re done living like slaves! Today, we fight back!”

Leena led her Women’s Unit straight into battle, targeting the base managers.

Ark Three’s situation was even simpler.

Max had quietly opened the massive steel gates of the fortress-like base. He didn’t do anything else. Leading the people he recruited, he just opened the door for Milo.

Using the garbage shaft as an entry route, Milo’s team pushed upward from the lowest level and fought their way into the base

“Hayley, this was you!” someone shouted.

“Who else?” Hayley replied with a smile.

“You’re dead!”

Gerard shot forward like an arrow. As a fire-element Gifted, flames exploded across his entire body.

Hayley calmly watched the fire roaring around him.

Then, she lifted her cuffed hands. The next second, a blazing wave of fire burst from her palm like the sun itself.

Gerard’s flames were instantly swallowed by a stronger inferno.

Boom!

His body slammed into the wall behind him, charred black. He was barely breathing.

The only reason he survived was that he himself was a level-5 fire-element Gifted. Otherwise, that single strike would have killed him outright.

“You have fire abilities too?!” Donald shouted in disbelief.

“Doesn’t everyone?” Hayley replied calmly.

She raised her hand again, and a massive surge of water crashed forward like a tidal wave. It swallowed the Ark Two members

standing nearby.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel was already panicking. Ne was frantically pressing the control button for Hayley’s restraints, again and again.

Nothing happened. The device simply didn’t respond.

Hayley glanced at him, and then she lifted her arms, With a burst of raw strength, she ripped the collar and wrist shackles righ off. The metal warped in her hands, and the bomb remained inactive.

She tossed the twisted restraints aside like broken toys.

“You thought that little thing could hold me?” she said.

Nathaniel stared at her in shock.

Impossible.

Unless… She could control magnetic fields.

Before he could think further, a crushing wave of mental pressure slammed into his mind. His vision went white.

The next second, Hayley grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground.

“Someone like you deserves to die a thousand times over.”

Just as she tightened her grip, a blur of motion shot forward.
