Chapter 766

The next day…

The skies were clear, the sun blazing.

A line of warships cut across the open sea, dark and imposing.

“Listen up, Ascendant Creed! This is Hayley, from the Haylight League,

“Hand over my aunt, alive and unharmed. I’m not negotiating terms. Give Aunt Ruby back, and we can talk. Refuse, and I will wipe the Sovereign Academy off the map today.

“If you so much as lay a finger on her, I swear on my name, Haylight League will rain fire on every one of your branches! The Sovereign Academy, the Sovereign Research Institute, Sovereign Industries, the Sovereign Legion, all of it. Including Ascendant

Creed itself.

“I’ll bury every last one of you with her!”

Her voice blasted through the airwaves and into a conference room.

A man with an SS insignia pinned to his chest listened, his eyes lighting up with growing excitement.

Hayley’s words echoed again and again across the island as her fleet crept closer, inch by inch.

Still, not a single reply came from the other side.

“Hayley, they’re not responding,” Liam said quietly beside her, his expression tight.

Not even a word.

Were they calling her bluff? Waiting to see if she would actually attack?

Hayley stared straight at the distant harbor, her gaze cold as ice. She raised her hand.

“Fire.”

A sharp whine cut through the air.

Every recon strike drone launched at once, lifting off from the warships and surging toward the Ascendant Creed’s main istand

They had crossed her line.

Yesterday, they bombed her league. Then, they took Ruby.

There was no backing down now.

In a world like this, if someone trampled your bottom line and you still held back, you were nothing but meat waiting to be carved up. Even if she was weaker, she would still drive herself in like a steel spike straight through their chest.

If Ascendant Creed had any sense, they would know she wasn’t someone to provoke.

They never should’ve used Ruby against her.

Because she had already prepared for the worst.

She never cared about chasing power or carving out a throne. But push her to the edge, and even if she had to face a dragon, she would bring it down.

Boom!

The defensive artillery on Sovereign Academy’s main island roared to life, firing into the sky at the incoming drones

Boom! Boom!

The first wave of drones was wiped out midair.

But as they fell, their payloads detonated.

Boom!

Explosions ripped along the island’s outer edge.

It was a suicide assault.

“I’m Hayz! Executing lethal strike protocol!”

Linked to the AI butler, Hayz, wave after wave of drones hurled themselves forward, detonating one after another.

When one was blown apart, the next surged in, exploiting every gap.

The bombardment pushed forward relentlessly, crashing into their missile defense systems.

Boom!

Boom!

Their tightly sealed defenses started to crack under the endless suicide waves.

Once the perimeter broke, fighter jets roared into the sky.

The very aircraft Hayley had seized from the three Ark bases screamed over the island, unleashing everything they had.

Yesterday, these people tried to bomb her base.
