Griffin searched around like someone holding their phone while looking for it, completely missing her standing right in front of him. She couldn’t help but smile.

“Where did she go? Did she step out or something?”

Griffin turned to leave. Right then, someone tapped his shoulder.

“I’m right here.”

He spun around and saw Hayley standing there, perfectly solid and real. He froze for a second.

“Wait… You were just here. What’s wrong with me?”
