"My mom, brother, and Silas will be here soon."

"That's great. We can all catch up later," Sienna said.

Noticing Killian chatting with some executives nearby, she nudged Sylvia. "Go keep Killian company. You don't need to hover around us the whole night."

"Exactly, Sylvia! Thank god that annoying woman isn't here tonight to fight you for my brother's attention. Hurry up and go back to him. My brother is all yours tonight."

"Don't talk nonsense," Sylvia said with a shy, bashful smile. She nodded politely at Sienna and made her way back to Killian, slipping her arm through his once more.

Sienna watched them from afar. They were a stunning couple, a match made in heaven.

She smiled with a sense of relief, but then a fleeting thought crossed her mind—this was Killian's business. Was there really any reason for her to be so overjoyed?

Soon enough, Madeline and Silas arrived. Sienna and Natalie went over to greet them.

"I just saw Sylvia. She's over there with Killian," Sienna noted.

Madeline laughed. "I told her to come with me earlier, but she flat-out refused."

"Well, obviously. Sylvia and my brother are completely devoted to each other. He's naturally her first choice," Natalie chimed in.

"That's true. Daughters always grow up and choose someone else eventually. I bet in a few years, Natalie will be exactly the same," Madeline teased gently.

Silas seized the opportunity to ask, "Does Natalie have a boyfriend yet?"

Natalie blushed slightly. "I don't have a boyfriend. Dating is so boring."

As she spoke, she cast a secretive, upward glance at Gibson.

Gibson frowned, looking mildly taken aback.

He already hated these kinds of social events and had only shown up out of obligation as the heir to the Xavier family.

He completely ignored the cryptic hints flying between the women.

"I'm going to find Killian," he told Madeline.

"Alright."

"What would you two beautiful ladies like to drink?" Silas asked, putting on his best gentlemanly act.

The cleaner stood up behind him. She was dressed in a standard hotel uniform, her face mask pulled down beneath her chin to make breathing easier while she worked, revealing her plain, unadorned face.

Silas took two more steps before a jarring realization hit him. He spun around abruptly, locking eyes with the cleaning lady.

In that exact second, mutual recognition settled between them.

Judith's gaze turned frigid. She looked away and prepared to resume her work.

But Silas surged forward, slammed the two glasses down on the table, and seized Judith by the arm.

"What are you doing here?"

"Who let you in?"

Judith stared up at the man who was at once so familiar yet a complete stranger.

He had aged well. His face hadn't changed much; the handsome, striking features of his youth were still visible, and years of living in the lap of luxury had only added a layer of refined elegance.

But right now, his eyes were wide with sheer panic.
