Killian had assumed she was acting as Madeline's proxy to talk some sense into him, but her reaction suggested otherwise.

"I thought you liked Sylvia," Killian remarked.

Sienna's expression turned awkward as she offered a sheepish smile. "I wouldn't say I 'like' her. I just have a decent relationship with her mother. Don't let me influence your judgment on this relationship. If you want to break up, then do it. It doesn't matter to me."

Killian gave her a strange, assessing look.

He certainly wouldn't let Sienna dictate his love life. She held absolutely no weight when it came to his personal decisions.

Realizing how presumptuous she sounded, Sienna quickly changed the subject. "It should be time for school to let out soon, right?"

"Yes."

"Then I'll go pick up Connor. And I'll swing by The Yale Residences for dinner tonight."

Killian frowned, but didn't outright refuse.

In the past, Sienna would occasionally visit The Yale Residences to play the role of a devoted grandmother, even if it was just for show.

Lately, he had noticed a distinct shift in her attitude. He guessed it stemmed from the incident where she nearly struck Connor. Eleanor had been furious, forcing Sienna into serious damage control.

"Fine," he agreed.

Maintaining this fragile peace with Sienna was acceptable. There was no need to burn bridges just yet.

When school ended, Sienna arrived to pick up Connor. Standing at the gates, she scanned the crowd but didn't spot Jillian.

Instead, she caught sight of Judith and Lydia. She figured Jillian was too busy and had asked her mother to handle the school run.

After retrieving Stella, Judith noticed Sienna as well. She immediately pulled Stella behind her, eyeing Sienna with fierce suspicion, terrified she might try to hurt the child again.

Sienna, however, simply offered a polite smile and reached out to take Connor's backpack.

Judith rolled her eyes, her unease lingering. She pulled Connor close and whispered, "Con, if this woman bullies you, call me immediately."
