The Love I Begged For Was Never Real novel Chapter 467

Armed with the master keycard, he had brazenly invaded her private territory, forcibly stuffing his glaringly out-of-place lifestyle into every corner she breathed in.

"Nora, the place is just too small."

"In a few days, I'll have Liam pick out a larger villa. Better scenery, a proper environment for you to grow your flowers."

She turned around, her cold eyes locking onto his.

"Gideon, when are you going to stop?"

She simply kicked off her shoes, slipped into her house slippers, and walked straight past him without a second glance, completely erasing his existence.

She walked to the folding table, grabbed her own faded water cup, and headed for the dispenser in the kitchen, treating him like air.

Watching her shut him out so entirely, a flicker of panic flashed through Gideon's dark eyes.

He took off after her, cornering her in the narrow kitchen aisle.

"Nora."

He spoke from behind her.

She acted entirely deaf to it.

Holding her full cup of water, she turned around, preparing to bypass him and head for her bed.

Gideon reached out, snatched the cup from her hand, and slammed it down onto the counter.

Water splashed out, pooling across the marble surface.

Before she could even react, he lunged forward, sweeping his long arms around her and hauling her tightly against his chest.

"Let go of me!"

Nora screamed, violently shoving at his chest with both hands.

But Gideon cared absolutely nothing for her struggles.

He tightened his arms, locking her into his embrace, refusing to let her go.

He buried his face deep into the crook of her neck, his breathing heavy and erratic.

His massive frame was actually trembling.
