Dead silence echoed from Fiona's end of the line.
The Judd and Foster families were deeply intertwined in business, holding equal power in the city. Fiona knew that no matter how influential the Judds were, openly insulting the eldest Foster son was corporate suicide.
After a pathetic, terrified stutter, Fiona hung up.
Hearing the dial tone, Nora scoffed. "Typical bully. She only barks when she thinks you won't bite back. You've been way too nice to her, Audrey."
"I know," Audrey sighed. "I gave her too much grace in the past. That stops now."
She casually tapped the refresh button on her browser, wanting to see how bad the comments on the new video had gotten.
But when the page loaded, the video was gone.
The article was gone. The photos were gone.
She checked three different tabloid sites. Every single mention of her, the scandal, and her "romance" with Miles had been completely scrubbed from the internet. They had been replaced by mundane articles about celebrity red carpet fashion. The internet was so pristine it was as if the drama had never happened.
Audrey locked her phone and looked at Miles. "Did you do that?"
Tabloids didn't just grow a conscience. Someone with massive power had wiped the servers clean.
Miles didn't deny it. He just offered a soft smile. "As long as it gives you some peace of mind."
"It definitely does," Audrey laughed lightly.
Before she could say anything else, a sleek white SUV pulled up alongside them. The window rolled down to reveal Bianca Snow's gorgeous face hidden behind designer sunglasses. "Get in, losers! We're going out to dinner!"
