Chapter 251 Your Photos Went Viral
“Oh, really?” Hannah picked up her phone with a sly smile. “Guess I’ll send you a rookie starter pack Ravert’s really unlucky to have a fan as gross as you”
Dustin looked completely baffled, while Van just observed a moment of silence for him in his head
“You…” Dustin started to say.
Van quickly jumped in, worried Hannah might actually walk out Dustin kept talking “Just tell us what you wanted to tal about,” he asked.
Dustin shot Hannah an annoyed glare, feeling like she almost made him lose focus on the business at hand.
He pushed down his irritation, ignored Hannah, and turned to Van with a forced smile.
“The Thole family is willing to offer 1 billion dollars plus a 2% profit share to bring Raven on board to develop chips for us Dustin said.
“Raven’s got some unresolved issues with Veridia. Doesn’t that worry the Thole family?” Van asked tactfully.
“You mean the whole being wanted thing?” Dustin replied, looking totally unfazed, “Pfft, that’s nothing. The Thole family can handle it for him.”
Hannah, fiddling with her phone, shared a glance with Van when she heard that.
‘If the Thole family wants to work with Raven, they must’ve done their homework. They’re all about their reputation, so why would they still go after him knowing what’s up? Is there something shady going on here? Hannah wondered.
“So how are you planning to handle that?” Van asked,
Trying to show he meant business, Dustin launched into the same story his dad had used to win over Edmund, laying it all out for them.
“That warrant from Veridia? It’s just their way of strong-arming Raven into working for them,” Dustin explained.
Hannah was left speechless.
“Holy shit! They can actually do that?” Van blurted out, unable to hold back his shock.
‘Boss is so badass that even Veridia’s losing their minds over her! Van thought.
“So if Ravenos teams up with the Thole family, we’ll use our connections in Veridia to get that warrant dropped,” Dustin said confidently.
Van was itching to get that warrant canceled right now. Ever since it came out, he hadn’t dared to go online, afraid someone might kidnap him and force him to give up Raven’s location.
He glanced at Hannah, looking for her opinion.
“Only 1 billion?” Hannah said, eyes still glued to her phone.
She sounded totally unimpressed, not even bothering to hide how little she cared about the offer.
Van was left speechless.
Dustin snapped, “And don’t forget the 2% cut of the net profits!”
‘1 billion guaranteed is already massive, seriously!’ Dustin thought.
‘Plus that 2% profit share? That’s long-term money! Raven can’t build chips solo, The Thole family is fronting billions for R& D. All Raven has to do is bring his skills, and he’ll have a steady stream of cash for years! Dustin fumed inwardly.
“Whatever, that’s not impressive at all. And honestly, your attitude is disgusting. Count me out,” Hannah said, putting away her phone, grabbing her book, and standing up abruptly. She turned to Van. “Let’s go see what Xenith Systems Group is willing to offer.”
Dustin’s forehead veins popped. “Who the hell do you think you are? What makes you think you get to call the shots for Ravenos?”
He turned to Van. “Mr. Martin, just let Ravenos know what I said
“I’m following her lead, Van said, getting up and trailing after Hannah.
‘Seriously, you’re just going with Hannah?
‘Isn’t the boss supposed to call the shots? Why
Successfully unlocked!
‘Does he even have a mind of his own?’ Dustin fumed inwardly
Dustin was fuming. ‘Should’ve just asked for Raven’s number and gone straight to the source. Why am I even wasting my time with these two sidekicks?’

“Oh, and by the way, don’t forget to check out that newbie pack. Hannah called out, stopping at the doorway.
Dustin was left confused and pissed, but he got up and stormed out of the private suite.
On his way out, Dustin noticed a bunch of waiters shooting him strange looks. When he got to the first floor, even more people were staring at him, some scrolling on their phones and whispering to each other.
Dustin’s expression turned grim. He asked his assistant, “What’s going on?”
The assistant went to find out, then came back looking awkward, clearly struggling with how to say it.
“Just spit it out,” Dustin snapped, getting impatient.
“Mr. Thole, did you accidentally send out some photos?” the assistant asked, voice trembling.
Dustin looked totally lost. “What photos?”
The assistant squirmed, barely able to get the words out. “Uh… those pics of you in bed with another guy. They got sent out over Bluetooth to everyone nearby.”
“WHAT?!” Dustin shouted, his face going pale.
‘When the hell did I ever share those photos?’ Dustin was totally freaking out inside.
He’d been in the private suite the whole time, hadn’t even touched his phone!
Dustin pulled out his phone and saw the photos had actually been sent out. His face went completely black.
Trying to keep his sexuality a secret, Dustin rarely met up with guys. But whenever he did, he’d always take some private photos and videos to satisfy his hidden cravings.
He always kept those private photos locked with a password, hidden away and super careful. So how the hell did they end up getting sent out over Bluetooth?
‘Who the hell did this?’ Dustin thought, his mind spinning.
Suddenly, he remembered what Hannah said about the newbie mack before she walked out. His face went so dark, he looked ready to explode.
‘Was it Hannah?’ Dustin thought, his mind racing.
‘But isn’t she just a rookie who’s only started learning C? How could she possibly pull off something like this?’ Dustin thought, totally baffled.
‘It had to be Van!’ Dustin was sure of it.
When they shook hands, Dustin had traced his finger across Van’s palm, a well-known sign in their circle, a discreet
invitation.
‘I can’t believe Van’s so petty. I just tried to make a move, and he goes this far?’ Dustin fumed inwardly.
“Who would’ve thought Dustin was gay?” someone whispered.
“Being gay’s whatever, but the real drama is he’s dating Ms. Yates. That’s just wild!” another person chimed in.
“Ms. Yates probably doesn’t even know, right? I heard they’re about to get engaged,” someone else added.
“Isn’t that basically a sham marriage?” another person blurted out.
Dustin listened to the whispers all around him, wishing the ground would just swallow him up.
He hurried out, jumped into the car, and snapped at his assistant, “Make this go away! If anyone dares to spread those photos and trash my rame, make sure they rot in jail!”
‘If my parents or the family head ever find out about this, I’m dead meat!’ Dustin thought, his heart pounding.
The assistant had been with Dustin for years and was no idiot. He knew those photos were legit, Dustin was just using that as a cover story.
He couldn’t help but feel pissed. Just one word from the boss, and he had to bust his ass cleaning up the mess.

At Xenith Systems Group, Finneus had his people send out invites under the company’s name to the top 99 hackers on the world leaderboard.
But only 11 said they’d come. That was way too few.
So he had someone spread the word that Vulcan was gonna show up. By the end of the afternoon, the RSVP list exploded
to 68.
That night, he had his team spread the word that Raven would be showing up too. By the next morning, 99 hackers had confirmed they’d be coming.
Finneus, looking pleased, sent the confirmed list to Barnaby [Brnaby, here’s the list of hackers who’ve said they’re coming

to the meet-up.]
At the Scepter House’s Celestial Pavilion, Barnaby opened the list and scanned through it, spotting Raven listed under
Shadow.
He gave a long, thoughtful look at their names, then pulled up the Scepter House’s financial system on his computer and quickly located the record for Hannah’s Obsidian Pearl auction.
The transaction record was gone.
The deletion had been done using an internal account, and every trace of the operation had been scrubbed from the
system.
His strong, well-defined fingers tapped rapidly across the keyboard, trying to restore the system logs. He couldn’t recover who did it, but he did get the timestamp, it matched the night Hannah had come to the Scepter House with him.
He thought back to that night, remembering how Hannah and Spencer had tangled with each other. His dark eyes grew even deeper, a spark of excitement glinting in them under the lights.
