Chapter 91
“Who are you? What are you doing with that needle on the patient?” the nurse snapped, hurrying over.
The nurse rushed forward, reaching out to pull Hannah away from Aurelia.
“My sister is treating my grandma. Don’t interrupt her!” Lucian shouted, blocking the nurse.
The nurse grew even more anxious. “Is she a doctor? Does she have a medical license?”
She tried to get around Lucian to stop Hannah. This was her patient, if anything happened, she’d be the one in trouble.
“It’s not your concern! Just let her save my grandmal” Lucian shouted, wrapping his arms around the nurse’s leg and refusing to let go.
The nurse grew desperate, but Lucian was too strong; she couldn’t budge. She turned to Felicity. “You’re family, stop her!”
Felicity hesitated for a moment, but when she saw Hannah already working, she stepped up to block the nurse too. “Just let her try.”
“Have you all lost your minds? You’re just clutching at straws!” the nurse yelled.
Blocked by Lucian and Felicity, the nurse couldn’t get through and suddenly turned around, hurrying out of the room.
Lucian took the opportunity to shut the door and lock it tight.
The nurse came back soon after, bringing Aurelia’s attending doctor, the head nurse, and two hospital security guards, only to find the door locked from the inside.
“This is nonsense! Open the door right now!” Dr. Lee, Aurelia’s attending physician, yelled, banging on the door.
He spun around to the nurse. “Go find the key!”
“No way! My grandma’s been stuck in your hospital for two months and you still can’t help her. You’re all useless!” Lucian yelled, crossing his arms and glaring at the door.
He even stuck out his tongue at the little glass window, pulling a silly face.
When Dr. Lee saw that it was just a young girl working on Aurelia, who was already unconscious, he barked, “This is a life-or- death situation! We can’t let them do as they please, break the door down!”
Inside the room, Hannah set the final needle and glanced back. “Alright, you can open the door now.”
The two security guards hiked up their sleeves, took a few steps back, and charged at the door, only for it to swing open at the last second. They ended up tumbling to the floor, and the head nurse rushed over to help them.
Lucian couldn’t hold back his laughter.
Dr. Lee shot him a glare and stormed into the room.
“Who let you mess around in here?” Dr. Lee snapped, raising his hand to shove Hannah aside.
But Hannah shot him a frosty glare. “Watch your mouth. Hands off!”
Her eyes were so cold, Dr. Lee felt a chill run down his spine, there was a clear warning in her gaze.
“You!” Dr. Lee sputtered, stunned and furious.

Chapter 91
Just then, Aurelia, who had been unconscious, suddenly gasped for air and snapped her eyes open.
The first thing she saw was Hannah, fiddling with a needle, and then she realized there were needles stuck in her own body and hands. Her anger flared instantly.
“You damn girl! How dare you stab me with needles? Are you tired of living?” Aurelia roared, her voice trembling with rage.
Muttering curses under her breath, she tried to sit up.
“Mom, don’t get worked up. You just passed out, and Hannah brought you back,” Felicity said quickly, trying to calm her
down.
“Mrs. Scott, you still have needles in you. Don’t move or you might hurt yourself,” Dr. Lee said, holding her back. “Try not to get upset. Do you feel any discomfort anywhere?”
As he reached for the needles, a slender, pale hand suddenly clamped down on his wrist.
The grip was surprisingly strong, he couldn’t break free for a moment.
Dr. Lee looked up and saw a beautiful, delicate face with a cool, distant expression.
“Keep them in for half an hour,” Hannah said, her voice steady and firm.
She sounded so sure of herself that Dr. Lee started to wonder if she actually knew acupuncture.
Dr. Lee specialized in internal medicine and didn’t know much about acupuncture, but watching the way she placed those needles, she really seemed to know what she was doing. For a moment, he hesitated.
“Ouch! That hurts like hell! Wake me up? More like she’s trying to finish me off with those needles!” Aurelia snapped, breaking free from Felicity and ripping the needle out of her own hand.
Hannah just stared, speechless.
“I can’t take it anymore, Dr. Lee! Please, help me! I’m dizzy, my heart’s pounding, and I feel awful all over. Is this brat trying to poke me to death?” Aurelia moaned, her face twisted in pain.
Dr. Lee’s doubts about Hannah instantly disappeared.
Right now, saving the patient was all that mattered.
He broke free from Hannah’s grip and yanked all the needles out of Aurelia in one swift motion.
He moved so fast that Felicity didn’t even have time to react, by the time she realized what was happening, it was already too late to stop him.
“Hannah, is your grandma going to be okay?” Felicity asked, her voice full of worry.
Hannah couldn’t stand patients who refused to cooperate. She packed up her needles and said coldly, “Forget it, just call the crematorium.”
“What?” Felicity’s hand trembled in shock. “Is she really beyond saving?”
Hannah just stared, speechless.
‘Seriously, it was just a joke. Why does she have to freak out? But if she keeps acting like this… Hannah thought.
“It’s only a matter of time,” Hannah said, her tone flat.
“Dr. Lee, did you hear that? She’s trying to murder me! Take me for a full check-up right now, check if she poisoned me!”
Chapter 91
Aurelia shrieked, her voice shaking with panic.
Dr. Lee, worried things might get out of hand, quickly called the head nurse over Together, they got Aurelia into a wheelchair and wheeled her out for a full check-up.
Before leaving, he told the two security guards. “Don’t let her leave! If anything goes wrong, she’s on the hook!”
Then he turned to Felicity. “You’re family, come with us!”
But when the results from the full check-up came back, Aurelia’s numbers weren’t just normal, they were actually a lot better than yesterday!
Even the blood vessel blockages that usually plague people her age were totally gone!
After two months of hard work, they’d only managed to clear about a third of those blockages, and now, just like that, they were all gone.
Wait a second… those needles she used. Does she really know acupuncture? Did she just clear those blockages in an instant? Dr. Lee thought, completely stunned.
‘But she looks like she’s barely out of high school!’ Dr. Lee thought, still in disbelief.
“Mom, do you feel any better? Is there anywhere that still hurts?” Felicity asked, her voice full of concern.
After hearing Dr. Lee’s report, Felicity finally let out a sigh of relief and wheeled Aurelia back to the room.
Aurelia shot back, “No! I’m still dizzy, my heart’s pounding, and I feel awful all over, weak as a kitten!”
“But Mrs. Scott, your test results show you’re actually doing better than yesterday. Your blood vessels are all clear now,” Dr. Lee said, following behind.
“No way! Are you even a real doctor? Did that country bumpkin bribe you or something? Are you trying to kill me?” Aurelia snapped, slamming her hand on the armrest of the wheelchair.
She stopped the wheelchair dead in its tracks, refusing to move another inch.
“No way! I know you’re all in this together! I don’t want you treating me anymore!” Aurelia snapped, then turned to Felicity. “Go to the top floor and get the Nameless Healer! I want her to treat me!”
She’d heard from other patients that Malcolm was also being treated at this hospital, and the Nameless Healer came by regularly to see him. Today was his follow-up appointment.
If the Nameless Healer had saved that dying poor kid for free just last week, then surely the Nameless Healer could help Aurelia too!
Felicity felt stuck. The Nameless Healer wasn’t someone one could just summon with a snap of fingers.
‘Is she just trying to mess with me?’ Felicity thought, feeling a headache coming on.
Plus, she’d brought Hannah here today to treat Aurelia. If she suddenly swapped her out for someone else, wouldn’t that basically mean she didn’t trust Hannah at all?
