The Real Heiress Is Coming Back (Hannah Carter) novel Chapter 92

Chapter 92

Chapter 92

“The Nameless Healer does work with our hospital, but she doesn’t take appointments here,” Dr. Lee reminded them.

Honestly, even catching a glimpse of her was nearly impossible, even for the staff.

“I don’t care! You’re all trying to kill me! I don’t trust any of you! I refuse any treatment unless you bring the Nameless Healer here. Otherwise, I’m not leaving!” Aurelia wailed.

She slammed on the wheelchair brakes, completely disregarding her dignity as she caused a huge scene right there in the hospital corridor, crying, wailing, and almost threatening to do something drastic. Felicity’s attempts to calm her were completely in vain.

People passing by in the corridor couldn’t help but stare, whispering and pointing at the spectacle.

Hearing the commotion, Lucian came out, took one look at the chaos, and wished he could pretend he didn’t know Aurelia.

“Hannah, what are we supposed to do? Grandma keeps insisting on seeing the Nameless Healer,” Lucian turned to Hannah, sounding desperate.

Hannah was kicked back in her chair, legs crossed, headphones in, totally ignoring the drama as she played her game.

“Hannah?” Lucian tried to grab her headphones, but Hannah slapped his hand away before he could touch them.

She didn’t even look up. ‘Just let her tire herself out. She’ll quiet down eventually, Hannah said.

Lucian could only stare, lost for words.

‘Only my real sister could be this chill, Lucian thought, exasperated.

Hannah could keep her cool, but everyone else, especially Dr. Lee, was getting anxious.

With all this commotion, people passing by might think it was some kind of medical dispute. It was making it hard for other patients to rest and giving the hospital a bad name.

Finally, with no other options left, Felicity said, “Mom, I’ll go in a bit, okay? Let’s head back to the room first, this really isn’t the place for all this drama.”

“You go right now! Or I’m not moving!” Aurelia insisted, stubborn as ever.

“Alright, alright,” Felicity replied, already exhausted by Aurelia’s tantrum. She asked Dr. Lee and the nurse to take Aurelia back to the room, then turned and headed for the top floor.

Only after Felicity stepped into the elevator did Aurelia finally let go of the wheelchair brakes and allow herself to be wheeled back to the room.

As she passed Hannah, Aurelia made a point of letting out a loud “humph,” acting all smug like she’d just won a battle.

Lucian just stood there, completely speechless.

Dr. Lee had no idea what to say.

The head nurse could only stare, lost for words.

“Is there anything else? Can I leave now?” Hannah said, putting her phone away and standing up. She gave Dr. Lee a cool, indifferent look.

“Sorry, we really misjudged you,” Dr. Lee said, his voice tinged with respect as he thought about the test results. “Seriously,

how did you manage to clear those vessels so quickly?”

“Goodbye,” Hannah replied.

Before Dr. Lee could finish, Hannah just nodded at Lucian and strode out.

She didn’t even bother to look his way.

‘Seriously, I’m the head of geriatrics at Starlake General Hospital in Brynlock. I’ve got a decent reputation around here, Dr. Lee thought, feeling a bit indignant.

And now I’m getting looked down on by a young girl?’ he grumbled to himself.

But honestly, her acupuncture technique for clearing Aurelia’s blood vessels was truly exceptional, so precise and refined.

“Young people these days are truly impressive,” Dr. Lee muttered to himself as he sat back in his office, comparing Aurelia’s before-and-after test results.

Just then, the hospital director, Jonathan Whitmore, walked into the office. Hearing Dr. Lee’s sigh, he asked, “Dr. Lee, what’s got you so impressed?”

“Mr. Whitmore,” Dr. Lee said, quickly standing up to greet him.

Jonathan waved him back down with a friendly smile. “Sit, sit. Tell me, what happened?”

Dr. Lee knew Jonathan was well-read, worldly, and always on the lookout for talented people, so he told him all about what Hannah had just done.

“Really?” Jonathan’s eyes went wide with surprise. “Acupuncture for clearing blood vessels isn’t rare, but getting instant results? That’s almost impossible. Quick, pull up the security footage, I need to see this myself.”

VIP rooms have cameras to make sure patients get the best care.

Dr. Lee immediately asked someone to bring up the security footage.

When Jonathan saw Hannah working the needles with such effortless skill on the footage, he was floored. “That’s the Thirteen Phantasmagoria Needles technique!”

The last time he’d witnessed someone use the Thirteen Phantasmagoria Needles technique was more than twenty years ago, a woman people called the legendary Miracle Doctor.

Her skills were so extraordinary, leaving a lasting impression.

In recent years, the only place he’d even heard about it was on the Heaven Medical Network, where the top-ranked Nameless Healer mentioned it in a traditional medicine research paper.

But even Daisy had never used it, and he’d honestly thought this technique was lost forever. Who would’ve thought he’d see it again here?

And she’s just a young woman! Who would’ve thought someone so young could master this technique?

“Is that really the legendary Thirteen Phantasmagoria Needles technique?” Dr. Lee gasped, unable to believe his eyes.

“Yes! Is she still around? Hurry, I need to meet her!” Jonathan exclaimed, his eyes shining with excitement.

“This is a rare genius!’ Jonathan thought, practically buzzing with excitement.

“She’s already left, but she’s Mrs. Scott’s granddaughter,” Dr. Lee replied.

“Take me to see Mrs. Scott right now,” Jonathan urged eagerly.

Meanwhile, in Aurelia’s hospital room

Did you really go?” Aurelia eyed Felicity doubtfully.

“Mom, I swear I did, but the bodyguards wouldn’t even let me get close, Felicity said, thinking back to how she tried to reach the Nameless Healer

She didn’t even make it to Malcolm’s door, the bodyguards stopped her right at the entrance.

As soon as they heard she was from the Scott family, they didn’t even bother to announce her. They just told her to get lost.

“Mom, after what happened with Susic, we’ve totally fallen out with the Baker family. The Scott family’s bankrupt now, so honestly, it’s no wonder they slammed the door in my face,” Felicity said with a helpless shrug

“Our Scott family is really bankrupt?” Aurelia clutched her heart dramatically, slumped back on the bed, and just lay there, devastated for a while. After a long moment, she sat up again, ranting and raving.

“It’s all that brat’s fault! She’s a total bad luck magnet! Ever since we brought her back, nothing’s gone right for the Scott family. She’s our family’s jinx!” Aurelia snapped.

“Grandma, can you please stop nagging? You’re so loud! If it weren’t for Hannah, you’d still be lying here helpless!” Lucian grumbled, not even looking up from his game.

Aurelia paused, then stared at Lucian like she’d seen a ghost. “Lucian, are you really talking back to me because of that jinx?”

And in the next instant, she launched into another dramatic outburst. “Oh, what is this world coming to! First my granddaughter sticks needles in me, now my grandson’s turning against me, do I even matter in this family anymore…”

Just then, there was a knock at the door, and Jonathan and Dr. Lee walked in.

The moment Aurelia saw Jonathan, her dramatic outburst came to an abrupt halt. She immediately put on her best polite act and greeted him respectfully, “Mr. Whitmore, what brings you here?”

Lucian was speechless.

Felicity could only stare, lost for words.

“Mrs. Scott, Mr. Whitmore came all the way here just to check on you. How are you feeling? Any better?” Dr. Lee asked with a polite smile.

Aurelia’s ego soared, having the director of the famous Starlake General Hospital personally visit her? That was the kind of treatment most patients could only dream about.

She paused and did a quick self-check. Honestly, ever since she woke up, her head didn’t hurt, her back felt fine, and she was bursting with energy.

“Much better! This is the first time since I was admitted that I’ve felt so full of energy. Thank you, Mr. Whitmore, for coming to see me,” Aurelia replied, her tone practically glowing with pride.

Lucian was at a loss for words.

‘No wonder she’s got the energy to make such a fuss,’ Lucian thought, rolling his eyes.

Jonathan laughed lightly. “Don’t thank me, if anyone deserves your thanks, it’s your granddaughter.”

Aurelia stared, confused. “What?”
