The punks froze for a second before one of them sneered. “We won’t move. What are you going to do about it?”
They were clearly looking for a fight, their faces smug and defiant.
Cassia frowned deeper.
“Nothing much,” she said coldly. “As long as you can handle the consequences.” Her voice was calm but sharp, like ice.
The punk looked her up and down, his eyes full of arrogance. Her serious look seemed to amuse him. “Well, well,” he sneered wickedly, “What class are you from, pretty girl? Tell me, maybe I’ll come find you sometime. We can hang out together.”
Another one grinned. “Yeah, I heard there’s a new beauty at Zrario High. The new girl stole the campus belle’s title the moment she arrived. Don’t tell me that’s you?” One of the blond punks squinted at her, studying her face. “I’m pretty sure it’s you. Looks just like what they described.”
They’d only come around to try their luck, but who would’ve thought they’d run right into the girl everyone was talking about?
Cassia’s eyes flashed with anger. She didn’t want to waste another second on these jerks, so she turned to walk away.
“Hey, don’t go,” the leader called after her with a sleazy grin. “Stay and keep us company. There’s a motel nearby. Make us happy, and I’ll buy you a nice dinner afterward.” He reached out to grab her arm.
Before his hand even touched her, Cassia caught his wrist and twisted hard. Crack! The sound was sharp and crisp, cutting through the air..
A second later came the man’s scream. “Ah! My arm! It hurts!” His cry was so miserable that even passersby might have felt a bit sorry for him–almost.
The other two stared, stunned for a moment, then started laughing. “Dang, where’d this girl come from? She’s got moves!” one said with a grin. “Not bad. I like girls with some fight in them.”
“Yeah,” another punk added, sneering. “And you can’t even handle a girl half your size? You’re useless! What a disgrace to all men.”
Honestly, Cassia didn’t take those thugs seriously at all. If they wanted to mess with her, Cassia figured it was the perfect chance to stretch her muscles a bit.
Then, one of the two punks reached out to grab Cassia’s shoulder.
Cassia’s eyes narrowed. With a quick, fluid move, she dodged perfectly.
She spun around and twisted his arm behind his back. The guy let out a sharp cry of pain.
They all stared at her in disbelief. What the heck? How could three grown men lose to one teenage girl?

Embarrassed and angry, they decided to gang up on her. The one who’d been hurt growled, his face twisted with rage. He cursed, “You little slut! You should’ve come with us quietly. Now, you’re asking for it!”
When they charged toward Cassia, she lifted her leg and kicked–clean, swift, and powerful. Every move flowed perfectly, sharp and precise.
She looked incredible while fighting, full of confidence and fire, like she was completely out of their league.
In seconds, all three were down on the ground, rolling and groaning in pain.
It was right after school, so plenty of people had seen the fight. Someone had already called the police.
Within minutes, officers arrived. The chaos came to an end.
Since no one knew exactly what had happened, the police decided to take everyone to the station to sort things out.
Just then, Brie and Danica were walking out of the school gates. When they saw Cassia being escorted by the police, they stopped and asked a nearby student what had happened.
Once they got the info, Danica’s lips curled into a gloating grin. Haha, this is going to be fun to watch.
To her, it felt like a gift straight from the universe. Maybe even the universe had finally had enough. Otherwise, how else could such a perfect scene appear right before her eyes?
I knew it! That girl’s nothing but trouble–bad grades, bad temper, and always stirring up chaos.
“Cassia’s at the police station now. Should we tell Mom and Dad?” Brie asked, pretending to sound nervous and worried, though her darting eyes gave away her excitement. “After all, something like this could really hurt the family’s reputation.”
Danica let out a cold snort. “Of course I’ll tell them. This is about our family’s reputation. Unbelievable! She has only been home for a few days and is already causing trouble.”
That was exactly what Brie wanted to hear. Perfect. She didn’t need to do anything; she just needed to sit back and watch the show unfold.
The Wood Manor.
