Cassia fell asleep while listening to music. While she was sleeping soundly, her phone started ringing in her headphones.
Cassia didn’t even open her eyes. She just lay flat on the bed and answered the call.
Nicole’s voice came from the other end of the line.
“Cassia, I’ve checked out a few condominiums for you. I think two of them are pretty good,” Nicole said.
“Which two?” Cassia’s voice sounded a bit lazy and raspy.
“One is Southshore, and the other is Dunstino Bay. The surroundings are elegant, and the decorations are beautiful. Especially Dunstino Bay, it even has an open–air balcony!” Nicole said excitedly.

“That balcony is spacious! Cassia, just put a lounge chair there and sunbathe whenever you want. That’s basically a heavenly life!”
Cassia had only asked Nicole to help look at apartments and hadn’t said who the place was for, so Nicole assumed she was buying it for herself.
Nicole continued, “However, the area around Southshore has more shops and facilities. Plus, it’s a bit cheaper than Dunstino Bay.”
Cassia had been to Dunstino Bay before. Draven had bought a place there.
As for Southshore, she had seen the online listing before. It was also one of her investments and looked pretty good.
After thinking for a moment, Cassia sent a message to Draven.
“I want to buy an apartment. Do you think Dunstino Bay or Southshore is better?”
It was mealtime, so she assumed he wouldn’t reply right away. She tossed her phone aside, got up, opened the wardrobe, took out a light–colored velvet pajama set with subtle patterns, and headed toward the bathroom.
Ding!
A WhatsApp notification sounded.

Cassia had already reached the bathroom door. She turned back and looked at the phone lighting up on the bed.
He replied already? That fast?
Cassia walked back to the bed and looked at her phone.
Draven had replied, “Dunstino Bay.”
Cassia casually placed the pajamas on the bed, picked up her phone, and typed a reply.
“Why?”
She felt Draven knew this area well, which was why she asked him.
Draven replied, “Because I chose it.”
No explanation needed. That single sentence was enough to prove Dunstino Bay was better than Southshore.
Cassia raised her eyebrows, a faint smile appearing in her eyes.
That made sense. Someone like him would naturally have good taste.
She stopped comparing and directly decided to buy a place in Dunstino Bay.
Ding!
Draven sent another message.
“Have you
decided?”
Cassia typed, “Yeah.”
“I have some free time over the next few days.”
Cassia understood what he meant.
He wanted to go with her.
Cassia responded, “No need. It’s a small thing. I can handle it.”
Draven replied, “Since it’s a small thing, you don’t need to do it yourself.”
Cassia’s fingers paused slightly as she typed.

But it was only a brief moment of distraction. Before she fully snapped back, Draven sent another message.
“I know the manager at the Dunstino Bay sales office. If he helps, he can give you a discount and throw in some free furniture. Plus, he’ll get a commission too.”
Draven didn’t know Dunstino Bay was something she had invested in herself. Even without him stepping in, they would still give her benefits.
But since Draven had said this, Cassia felt refusing would be a loss on both sides.
By agreeing, she could get a discount and also help his friend.
“You really have a lot of friends,” she replied.
Draven texted, “Don’t worry. None of them are bad company.”
Cassia read his message carefully. Somehow, it gave her a feeling she couldn’t quite put into words.
“Then I’ll trouble you.”
“It’s just a win–win situation,” he replied.
The man always spoke with such perfect balance. He made people accept his kindness without feeling uncomfortable.
The next day…
Harold returned from his business trip.
Not long after he sat down in his office, he heard about two big events.
Cassia had kicked and broken a piano at the piano club, and she had beaten up the assistant principal, Chris.
Both incidents caused an uproar across the school. Harold couldn’t miss it even if he wanted
