Chapter 180 That’s Her
The front desk receptionist asked for Brie’s name again.
“Nicole, she said her name is Brie.”
The receptionist reported back.

Brie? The Wood family’s adopted daughter who always looks down on Cassia and stirs up trouble
whenever she can?
“Tell her we’re fully booked.” Nicole waved her hand impatiently.
The bar server said over the phone, “Sorry, we’re all out of tables.”
Brie looked up at Kaleb, disappointment on her face.
“So there really aren’t any seats left… How about we go to another restaurant for takeout? Most of the hotels close pretty late. We get out at 9:30 p.m., so we should make it in time.”
Kaleb was the kind of guy who cared a lot about his pride. The Lennox was the best hotel in Zrario, and more importantly, their chicken soup was the only one he could stomach.
Plus, he knew their chicken soup was Brie’s favorite. There was no way he would let his girlfriend go without her favorite soup.
Thinking of this, Kaleb decided to call in personally and take care of it.
One minute later…
“All right, Mr. Gill, is that right? We actually have one table left, so I’ll make a reservation for you.”
Kaleb stared at his phone in surprise.
All he said was that he was with the Gills and asked the receptionist for a favor, and it actually
worked?
“Still no luck?” Brie looked up and asked, “If not, it’s fine. We can just book ahead next time.”
Kaleb hung up, still a bit stunned. “It’s done.”
“Huh?”

She’d just called and they told her there were no seats. Kaleb called not even a minute later, and suddenly there was a spot for them?
Was this them looking down on her?
But that didn’t make sense–she didn’t hear Kaleb say his full name.
Wait, she remembered that the person on the phone had asked her for her last name.
Was it because they looked down on people with the last name Wood?
Brie decided not to dwell on it. Either way, she was getting dinner with Kaleb tonight.
The bell rang for the end of study hall, and Cassia headed straight for the Lennox.
The night was deep, the wind cold and sharp, but the hotel entrance was still lively and bustling. A Rolls–Royce rolled up silently to the curb.
The window slid down, and Ethan poked his head out, peering like a curious chick.
The back window went down too, and a few guys leaned forward, following Ethan’s gaze.
“Dude, are you sure the girl you like is really coming here?”
Ethan’s eyes were full of worry.
“I have no idea where else to find her! The only thing I saw was her walking into the Lennox.”
“So your plan is just to wait here and hope she shows up?”
Ethan sighed, eyes glued to the entrance.
What else could he do? He hadn’t seen her since they left the orphanage. That day, he ran into her by chance and forgot to ask what school she went to.
He was busy all day with classes and study hall and was only free after 9:30 p.m.
He just wanted to get to know her.
He’d even snuck out in the family’s Rolls–Royce without telling his parents.
Ethan was 18 years old now and had his license,
As for his driving skills, he’d represented Drakovia in international youth racing competitions. There was no way he couldn’t drive.

“Weren’t you guys supposed to help me find her? It’s been days and you’ve got nothing.” Ethan grumbled to the boys in the back seat.
His friends looked at Ethan pouting at them and insisted they really wanted to help, but it was just impossible.
One friend helpfully pointed out the biggest issue.
“The real problem is your portrait is so Picasso that if I didn’t know it was supposed to be a person, I’d have sworn it was a landscape painting!”
“Yeah, exactly!”
The others felt the same way.
Ethan rolled his eyes at his friends‘ teasing.
