His friends fell silent.

Ethan jumped down from the car and looked in the direction where the girl’s silhouette had just passed.
She was gone.
His face immediately fell.
“Man, do you guys think I just don’t have any luck with her? If that’s the case, I’m staying single forever!”
No exaggeration. Ethan genuinely had this thought. Because these were his closest buddies, he felt comfortable saying it out loud.
Hearing their friend say this, the guys quickly tried to comfort him. “Dude, that’s a bit dramatic!”
“Come on, there are
plenty of fish in the sea. You’ve got your whole life ahead of you! It’s not like she’s the only pretty girl you’ll ever meet!”
“Exactly. But hey, don’t lose hope yet. Zrario’s big, but she can’t hide forever.”
“Tell you what, we’ll help you find her. Just stay here and don’t wander off,” his friends said enthusiastically, then turned and walked a few steps before looking back to ask, “By the way, what color was she wearing?”
“I think it was a white puffer coat.” Ethan wanted to go look too, but parking wasn’t allowed in front of the hotel. If he didn’t want a ticket, someone had to stay with the car.
So he had no choice but to stay behind.
“Any other details?” His friends were determined to help Ethan find her tonight.
“Her hair wasn’t that long, just about shoulder–length, and she was absolutely gorgeous!”
His friends glanced around at the girls nearby.
They all had long hair, but didn’t most girls wear their hair down past their shoulders anyway?
Hair that wasn’t very long but still fell to the shoulders. What did that even look like?

So in the end, the only useful clue they had was one thing–very pretty.
“Oh, her name is Cassia.” Ethan finally offered an important piece of information.

“Cassia?” One of his buddies asked. “Didn’t you tell us that night that you forgot to ask for her name?”
Ethan scratched his head, a little embarrassed. “I was too excited that night and forgot to tell you guys. I’ve actually seen that girl twice, but both times we acted like complete strangers.”
“All right, got it. Wait for our good news!”
With a name, things would be much easier.
The guys decided to split up and search.
Sacha was passing by The Lennox on her way home from evening study hall.
She walked up to the entrance of The Lennox and saw the bustling crowd, catching a whiff of
the delicious aroma of food wafting from inside. She licked her lips.
For dinner, she had only eaten a small plate of pasta and a salad in the cafeteria.
Sacha’s stomach let out a few embarrassing growls.
“I could really go for some free–range chicken soup right now.”
But at this hour… even with a reservation, there probably wouldn’t be any tables available, right?
Never mind…
Sacha lowered her head and was about to leave when she suddenly spotted Cassia walking into the hotel.
“Cassia?”
How did she just walk right in like that?
That was The Lennox!
Cassia heard someone calling her name and looked back to see Sacha standing by the roadside.

Was she here for the free–range chicken soup?
“Cassia, did you make a reservation here?” Sacha ran over and asked, taking a guess.
“No,” Cassia replied coolly.
Sacha had long grown used to Cassia’s distant demeanor.

In her eyes, Cassia was just one of those people who seemed cold on the outside but were actually warm on the inside.
Sacha was just about to tell Cassia that only people with reservations could get in when…
Growl-
Her stomach betrayed her again.
Sacha’s face flushed bright red. She fidgeted with the hem of her shirt, standing there completely flustered.
Cassia glanced at Sacha’s stomach, then turned and walked toward the hotel entrance.
Pushing the door open and stepping inside, Cassia noticed Sacha still standing frozen at the entrance. She pushed the door half–open again and asked in her usual indifferent tone, “You coming or not?”
“Huh? Oh.”
Sacha’s eyes widened. She stood there dazed for a moment before snapping out of it, then walked into the hotel with her heart pounding nervously.

Outside, Brie happened to witness this scene.
“Kaleb, I think I just saw Sacha?”
“Sacha?” By the time Kaleb looked toward the entrance, Sacha had already gone inside.
Through the glass door, he could only see Sacha following another girl upstairs.
“Who’s that girl in front of Sacha?” Brie stared at her. Why did she look so familiar? It seemed like … wait, was that Cassia?
“Forget about Sacha. Let’s go in.” Kaleb’s expression wasn’t pleasant.

After evening study hall, Kaleb had figured that since Atelier Zrario and The Lennox were close to each other, he might as well hit both places tonight.
Before coming to The Lennox, Kaleb and Brie had gone to Atelier Zrario together.
They went to Atelier Zrario because they didn’t have the restaurant’s number, so they had to
in person to reserve a private room for their date this weekend.

Atelier Zrario, like The Lennox, was open 24 hours.
Originally, it closed at 9 p.m., but after The Lennox started staying open around the clock, competition forced Atelier Zrario to follow suit.
Other restaurants in Zrario, trying to keep up with the trend and attract customers, gradually changed their hours as well.
For some reason, after they had gone into Atelier Zrario and reserved their table and were about to leave for The Lennox, the manager received a phone call. He suddenly told them that the table they had just reserved had been taken by someone else.
