The four of them arrived at the same time and were allowed to enter the store as a group.
When Danica stepped into the store, her heart started pounding fast. To her, this place was sacred.
In her eyes, Seer’s mysterious designer was like a legend, almost a goddess of fashion.
No one should ever disrespect her work.
Every piece the designer created was a treasure to Danica.
She stared through the glass display at the latest collection, which consisted of elegant dresses in this season’s most popular colors and styles.
Seer had always been the trendsetter, the one brand that led the fashion world.
Danica was mesmerized by the designer. She stood there dumbfounded. How could someone design clothes this beautiful? The designer must be incredible.
Cassia walked into the store quietly. She rarely came here herself, since her team handled everything. Her focus was solely on design.
Yes, she was the chief designer of Seer–the one everyone called the fashion prodigy. It had all started with the casual sketches she used to doodle on paper just for fun. Those very sketches had turned into clothing designs that people went crazy for. That’s how Seer was born.
It turned out Seer’s designs became incredibly popular among young people. The brand now had collections for both teens and women, each line offering a different vibe and personality.
The store’s selection was complete and well–organized, with every piece displayed in its own distinct style and level of sophistication.
No one would ever guess that the genius behind this famous brand was just an 18–year–old high school girl.
To outsiders, she probably looked like an ordinary teenager with no idea how powerful her talent really
was.
“Brie, come here!” Danica called excitedly. “Look at this bracelet! It’s gorgeous! This is the new design. I saw it in a magazine just last week!”
Her face was almost pressed against the glass, eyes sparkling with excitement. She couldn’t take her gaze off that bracelet. Danica wanted it right then and there.
Brie tugged on Danica’s sleeve and whispered, “Danica, that looks really expensive.”
She had sneaked a glance at the price tag! It had six digits. Six! For a bracelet that looked like plain silver?
That was insane.
It might as well be daylight robbery.

Brie actually liked it too, but she wasn’t like Danica. She couldn’t act spoiled or impulsive. After all, she wasn’t the real daughter of the family. She didn’t have that privilege. Every moment, she had to play the role of the understanding and thoughtful one.
Danica froze when she heard her. She glanced at the tag. The price made her startled. “I–it’s not that expensive,” she stammered, forcing confidence. “Dad promised to buy me a gift, remember?”
Brie stayed silent, though a trace of disdain crossed her heart. She didn’t show it. Of course, she knew better than that.
Meanwhile, Cassia wandered through the store, clearly uninterested. Her calm, detached expression made the salesgirl dismiss her right away. One look, and the salesgirl decided Cassia was just a tagalong.
The other two girls, now they looked like real rich kids, leaning over the glass display and talking excitedly.
The salesgirl barely looked at Cassia. With a fake smile and a rehearsed tone, she said, “Hi there, would you like to look at clothes or jewelry? I can make some recommendations.”
Her voice was polite, but the lack of patience was obvious. She wasn’t interested; she was just saying what she had to say.
Cassia gave her a cool glance and frowned slightly. So this is what they call customer service? So this was how it works here, judging people by what they wear? Clearly, this woman had decided she couldn’t afford anything.
She had rarely set foot in the boutique before. Whenever the brand launched something new, Nicole Lane would personally set one aside for her.
Nicole was a woman in her 30s–a sharp career woman who now helped run Cosmo Group.
Years ago, she couldn’t have children. When her husband cheated and forced her into divorce, her world fell apart. She had been on the brink of ending her life–until she met Cassia.
Nicole was actually a top graduate from a well–known university. She was smart and capable, but her husband’s family was wealthy and traditional. They didn’t want her to work. So, she became a full–time homemaker.
Cassia recognized her talent. She brought her into the company to help manage the group. Nicole was organized and efficient, which allowed Cassia to stay out of the daily mess she hated dealing with. Cassia never liked complicated power games.
And Nicole didn’t disappoint her–she ran everything perfectly. If there was a problem, it was probably because someone under her had dropped the ball. That’s why the store ended up hiring a problematic salesgirl like her.
In business, the rule was simple–treat everyone equally. The quiet ones often turned out to be the biggest
clients.
