“You eat here every day?” Byron looked up at the large sign that read “Administration Building.”
This question had been bugging him for a while and he finally couldn’t resist asking Cassia.
“Yeah.” Her simple, blunt answer only made Byron more curious about her.
Just as Cassia was about to reach the building entrance, Byron caught up to her.
“Hey, Cassia, I haven’t had lunch yet. Mind if I tag along?”
“You’re annoying.”
Byron was at a loss for words.
He smacked his lips, looking a bit embarrassed, but he kept trying to make conversation
anyway.
“Cassia, I heard someone won the giant imported Montavia teddy bear at the Spring Gala by hitting all 50 targets!
“The food at The Lennox is pretty good. Cassia, let me take you there sometime? Or we could go to Atelier Zrario instead.
“Cassia…”
Despite Byron’s constant chatter trying to get her attention, Cassia completely ignored him.
“Boss, that Byron guy is bugging Ms. Wood again.”
Seven was leaning against the window and watching. Then he glanced back at Draven.
“The whole school’s been saying Byron is trying to pursue Cassia. Looks like that kid’s pretty persistent. What if Ms. Wood can’t shake him off and ends up saying yes?”
The man’s face remained expressionless.
“I told you, she has excellent taste.”
Seven fell silent.
All right, he shouldn’t have stuck his nose into their romance. It’s weird.

Just as Seven was mentally complaining, he caught a glimpse of Ethan walking toward Cassia.
That guy went to Zrario High too?
“Boss, it’s the Zimmers‘ heir!” Seven stuck his head further out the window, watching the scene unfold with great interest.
Ethan walked up to Cassia, looking shy and bashful, like a timid housewife from a 1950s sitcom.
He hemmed and hawed for a while without saying anything. Then Cassia spoke first. “Stop following me. I’m going to eat.”
Going to the Administration Building to eat?
“Oh.” Although confused, Ethan obediently stayed put. He watched Cassia’s retreating figure with longing eyes.
Looking at Ethan’s pitiful expression, Cassia furrowed her brow.
This guy actually had a decent personality. At least he wasn’t like his parents.
After thinking it over, Cassia said to Ethan, “You can come along, but you have to stay absolutely quiet and not bother me at all.”
Having received permission, Ethan’s dull eyes instantly lit up, and he scampered over to follow her.
Staying absolutely quiet. Not saying a word.
“It seems Ms. Wood isn’t as aloof as I thought. She actually has a soft side. Huh? Mr. Grey, aren’t you even a little jealous?”
The girl’s figure had already disappeared into the building, with two little tails following behind,
Draven withdrew his gaze and sat down in his office chair.
“Why would I be jealous?”
“I mean, your girl’s got two guys following her around. You’re not worried?”
And they were about to come up any second now. Even though Draven had brought plenty of delicious food from Atelier Zrario this time, was it really okay to have lunch with Cassia with two third wheels hanging around?
Seven felt this was very unlike Draven’s usual style.

“She doesn’t even think I’m good enough for her Do you really think she’d be interested in
anyone
else?”
Seven was speechless.
From the sound of it, his boss didn’t seem to mind having two extra people around while dining with Cassia.
Seven’s mouth twitched, then he glanced disdainfully at the book in Draven’s hands.
“Is that so? It’s just… Boss, your book is upside down.”
Draven’s hands paused briefly, then he replied with complete composure, “Reading it right- side up
isn’t challenging enough.”
Seven walked behind Draven. “Then read some of it out loud for me?”
What followed was a display of absolute genius.
From Draven’s lips flowed a passage read backwards, his voice as rich and melodious as a cello.
He was reading backwards, and in Yatesh no less It was so flawlessly it would bring you to your knees.
Seven gave him a thumbs up. Other than complete and utter respect, he had nothing to say.
There was a knock at the office door. Draven expected to see the girl with two little tails in tow. When he opened the door, only Cassia stood outside.
Draven almost blurted out, “Where are those two guys?”
But then it hit him. If he asked that, wouldn’t he be exposing the fact that he had been watching her the whole time?
He chose to swallow his question, smiled, and stepped aside to let her in.
Although he was a bit curious, he didn’t ask.
Because if she wanted to tell him, she naturally would.
He was willing to wait.
Wait for her to truly open her heart to him. Wait for her to genuinely fall in love with him.
